Is this something new or have I just missed it all these years? I'm looking at the ma to move one of my charries on a boat and see a smudge next to the boat. Looking closer I see its just a little puffy cloud?????????

I'm on my phone or I would take a screenshot.

It might just be a small mountain. They look kind of like clouds if they're small enough.

I've noticed a few spots on the ocean map with the "cloud" as well, but this was before weather. It might just be there for people to be like, "Oh hey, I'm actually moving in this boat that's slower than my university's Internet connection." But I don't know for sure.

That makes me wish we did have clouds, it would look neat though it would be hard to distinguish it from mountains. My guess is it was painted there by accident while making the island below it.

It's not a cloud. It's the elusive whale/kraken

I've always considered that an underwater reef.

Not a cloud. It's a sand bar. And it is possible to run your ship aground on it. Or at least, it used to be.
