I just want to say. That.. well.. it chokes me up seeing all these little tid bits across the world that are in honor and rememberance of my old characters. Seeing things for Louryl Du'Val.. Richard Rahl.. all of them. It really makes me regret ever leaving the game for a couple years. Makes me wonder. How things would be now if I stayed around. I love you guys. Everyone who ever had the chance to RP with my old characters. And all the ones I've having amazing RP with today. You guys are awesome. Now.. excuse me a moment. I.. I think I have something in my eye.

Honestly, I think all those memorials mean you left at just the right time.

How so? Though? I know a lot of people were heart broken when I said I had to leave the game for awhile.

Probably what he means is that if you keep playing too long, you turn bitter and it starts feeling like a chore.

And your characters linger on with no purpose, and when they finally die, all the youngins in town that you barely know hang their heads for a moment of silence for "the oldest citizen in town" and then throw you into a hole and continue on with their lives.

But what they should all be doing is getting to know that character, completely ignoring the age barrier, because that character would most probably blow their newspawn minds.

For that we have the wonderful Keith Blackmoon.
Brunoi luckily doesn't just slam people into the ground. :P

Don't forget the "respectful act of stripping the body of valuables" part before being thrown into the ground.

But yeah, as said before, memorials mean that there were those who still cared enough to mourn the passing. That being said, there is that moment of sad reflection as you wonder what they could have been if you had stayed.
