Favorite Chardescs
Whether that char is described as beautiful without being unbearably obvious that they're supposed to be, actually *gasp* is ugly, is stunningly mediocre but done tastefully, or is just described really really well, post it here.
I'd like to nominate Evangeline Wordsmith - I don't have her description with me, but it's awesome; you'll know what I mean if a char of yours sees her. Really anybody well written without the same old big boobs, good curves or toned and tanned is rare enough to warrant an approving nod from myself.

Agreed.. "She lacks the curves in all the right places that many others seem to possess." or something like that.. take that Cantr society!
I also saw a hairstyle that seemed to change "depending on life", I kinda know that one.
Also, Aggie Smalls (RIP).. "And she has a nose, right in the middle of her face."

That many of her peers seem to possess.
I do quite like hers, and I recall Aggie's nose. Another deceased, Itzah. I don't remember all of it, but seem to recall there being a fair bit of focus on perfectly sculpted eyebrows, which I found amusing at the time.

Re: Favorite Chardescs
These two, now deceased, good good friends of one of my characters, I always loved both of their descriptions so when they died, I copied them from the bodies and saved them...
Erramance:
"Middling height, with a trim figure and olive-toned skin. Her scalp is covered with
short, fine black curls, the ends just beginning to show from the bottom of her
headwrap. Her eyebrows are finely arched and jet black, lashes to match, stark
against eyes of a very pale shade of grey. The bright, glossy sheen of her eyes makes
them appear silver. Her face is otherwise unremarkable, save for an unusually full
lower lip.
There are four parallel scars on her left forearm that appear to have been slashes."
Ever since mine first met her she made me think of a mysterious monk because she always wore robes like a monk with a hood and she was bald- when I first met her her scalp was clean-shaven for the longest time, after many years there was evidence of "wool-like fuzz" showing that her hair was growing back, and before she died, this, she had short, fine black curls. The way she had her hair grow out reminded me of African and African-American etc. type hair. And I always loved her eyes.
Akello:
"A man just shorter than the average height and his body frame would almost be
considered rotund. Skin is unblemished and sienna brown in color. His hair is short
and it has the color of smoked walnut. It is arranged messy and made to stick up,
almost as if he had woke up like that but still done with a meaningful purpose.
Caramel brown eyes always seem to be looking around at everything and his movements
appear as if he is naturally drunk. Under his eyes appear to look darker than the
rest of his skin and his lips seem chapped. "
I always admired characters who weren't described as media-perfect and had their own little quirks (appearing as if naturally drunk)and Akello was definitely one. He was funny and charismatic and the fact that he "would almost be considered rotund" only added to his humorous attitude, just envisioning this tubby guy running around, clumsily, joking with his friends on a ship and falling over all the time, he always made you laugh. Both lovely characters and a real shame to lose, though it was quite a while ago (for me but I've only been playing 3 1/2 years =P )

One of my favs, and I'll leave it anonymous in case her player doesn't want more attention to her character:
"Covered in soot and oil, this woman seems to care less about her appearance. Her hair is a light chestnut brown, and full of broken ends. The wavy, frizzy mess is often kept in a ponytail tugged past her right shoulder. Her calloused hands often leave marks on her face, her hazel eyes focused. She speaks with a bit of a drawl."

I have an appreciation for any desc that doesn't portray the char as a god/dess or mention how well endowed they are, male or female. Anything that goes on about how muscled or beautiful a char is just makes me roll my eyes. I'll admit that I'm guilty of some prejudice against those types. I can't help thinking the char is going to be just as annoying as their desc. Seriously, the more impressive the desc tries to make the char seem, the less impressed I am. So far I've been right more often than wrong.

Re: Favorite Chardescs
Another that I happen to love from a cross-dressing man:
"Standing at barely over 5 feet tall, he has a lithe and dainty frame, almost feminine. His skin was once as flawless and pale as fine porcelain, aside from a single, dark beauty mark punctuating his face just to the left of his mouth, hidden by slight dimples whenever he smiles. However his arms and calves are riddled with deep, rough scars now, obviously made by animal attacks. His hair is wild, feathery, and soft, so pale a blonde as to be nearly white. His eyes are a deep red color, and seem to glint brightly even in the darkness.
His skirt and top are made with large, white feathers that nearly blend into his skin, making his eyes stand out even more drastically. His hat, cloak, and the fur lining of his boots are of a gray-gold color, spotted, like that of a hyena. The leather of the boots is a striking white like his feathered clothing, and napped into a suede finish, soft to the touch. He carries a hide bag at his side, stuffed with a collection of various bird feathers."

When one of my characters saw that character, he thought "whoa, I could love that personality but no way I would have sex with her unless she took a serious bath". I'm guessing she's not looking for that sort of a relationship, anyway.

Kaylee is hot but I still don't find grease a turn-on. Or callouses.

When I read that post, I didn't see Kaylee. I saw Osha from Game of Thrones.

Re: Favorite Chardescs
My one exception for any of the 'curvy' descriptions is Mizo *coughzorizoricough* of Dom Hofran. Perhaps it's just the fact that it fits her effervescent, wild personality so well, but something about it makes it just shine for me.
She is a somewhat tiny, energetic girl with a curvy body and a rather large bust. Despite her curves, she is incredibly skinny, and seems to have almost no muscle.
Her messy hair is a light, bleach-blonde color, and usually sticks up in disheveled spikes. Said hair is close cropped around the base of her neck, but hangs almost down to her shoulders on the sides. Her sky blue eyes have a lavender tint to them, and almost appear violet at first glance. She is usually grinning, and always has a mischievous, amused sparkle in her eyes.
Currently, she is pale and clammy, with dark rings around her eyes.

Re: Favorite Chardescs
Only two chardescs have stuck in my memory: One was Ecktoras, whose said something like "he reminds you of a tree" and another whose name I forget, which included the gem "looks like he smells good."
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
