What are the best character quirks you've encountered?

We all know that annoying newspawn whose 'special snowflake' quirk just gets on your nerves. We also know those who RP a sensory disability gracefully and respectfully, who are just a delight to interact with. We're not talking about either of those guys.
This is a place to discuss the quirks that you wouldn't have ever thought of, or the ones you don't think anybody could have pulled off, the ones that make a character amazing when done well. This is a place to draw inspiration to create awesome characters yourself, and to get and give advice on playing them well. I'll start.
There was somebody a long time back who thought for sure she was a Moon Goddess - that was incredible, and I hope someday to be able to do something of the same sort. Does anybody remember her or know what happened to her?
Also, Boneman of Kwor. His complete decking out in animal products is eerie and awesome at the same time - a understated quirk that I think is really great. I'm pretty sure I've seen some other char doing something like this somewhere, but I can't think where...

The Moon Goddess still exists... With an albino. So that works.
I've stumbled upon a backwoods mountain man and he does really well I think. Fun to rp with.

Oh! Another I seen that I thought was great. A deaf person. It wasn't known at first because my mute was the first to interact with him and he growled at someone who he thought was being mean to her. It was pretty hilarious and it was fun to realize through rp that he was actually deaf.

OENone - her nude purple grapeness is just pure awesome. She's infamous for her awesomely unique character and her love of grapes.
Cha of Cape Kerena (Rest in Peace) - Jamaican women, mon... and so wonderful at just how well she pulled it off, until her death.
Amy... never, ever misses a beat with her stutter - and lack of stuttering on her emotes. Her young, fun and sweet mind is a thing to behind as well.
Dung Meat - I will never forget some of the awesome conversations - especially the one with Pelican.
I love the quirky characters... they make life interesting.

Orand is one of my favorites. He seems to be completely unable to learn the subtleties of human society, but he does it in a very believable way. Hm!

I know exactly what's up with the moon goddess, as she's mine. At least, unless there's another one running around. Mine is the one with the albino.
Anyway, can I just say I'm really flattered that you noticed and complimented her? Because I am. I don't even have a good reason behind her existence - I was bored and it was the middle of the night, so I had a random idea out of nowhere that sounded like a fun thing to try. She's actually one of my favorites to RP.

Totally agree on this one. He made me (the player) crack up every time he was in the presence of my character. I've been watching 'Elementary' lately (took a long time to make it to Europe) and I wondered if his player got the idea from Sherlock (who says 'hm' at the end of sentences exactly as Orand did).

Not knowing how to tie your shoelaces by default, yet not being an idiot. Wow, that's depth.

I don't know how to tie my shoelaces. I plead the fifth on the rest, though.

Theronna. An old lady, living hermit in middle of mountains, she is kind of deranged but not in that kind of annoying way. Listening to her can be amusing while in the other hand she tries to be like normal sane Cantrian, a cook by profession.

I also like the quirks that aren't shoved in your face...
And the shoelaces.
But I have to mention Alexis. The girl that had to do anything she was directly commanded to... Just the nature of it lead to it being a closely guarded secret... It lead to many dramas, threats and risk of abuse, paranoia... and those that loved her being fiercely protective. (And very careful with their own words) Great character, amazingly well played...

Ness Tancher - The first religious character I ever came across. Completely naive and peaceful to a fault, except when she saw blood, then went violently insane until calmed.
Rosesliz Princeps - I can't even describe this character. Just so quirky and well done, I was in awe the entire day I interacted with her.
Alex of Puk - I'd never be able to consciously play a character that so completely and consistently acts against her own best interests.
Roses Easton - You'd have to really know her to understand, and so few really know her.
June of Tircqi - Fissss!
Olga the Seer - I'll bang my own drum here: Reading people's fortunes hasn't been done before or since that I know of, and doing them was really time consuming (which is why I stopped). I also heard a good deal of them came true. Her ability was gained after a traumatic experience with the Blackrocks.
Ze Narrator - I found the guy's accent and mannerisms hilarious.

Oh, and Evangeline Wordsmith (reminded from RP thread) - About as close to Commander Data as I've yet seen in Cantr.

I miss playing Narrator. It's a shame I had to kill him off. He was hilarious to play otherwise, as long as he was around wakeful people.
And dag nabbit.
ZE NAME OF ZE NARRATOR IS NOT ZE NARRATOR. ZE NAME OF ZE NARRATOR IS NARRATOR.
Ze player of ze Narrator is wondering how many times ze player of ze Narrator must tell people zat ze name of ze Narrator is Narrator and not Ze.

I have one that dresses completely in animal products too. Obsessively.
