If you don't want to be dragged start to drag yourself somewhere safe. Then you can't be dragged elsewhere unless, someone first drags you to where you have chosen, and then drags you somewhere else out before you can..

There's a few on here, this page probably explains it better: http://wiki.cantr.net/index.php/Tips_and_Tricks

To be sure, you could stuff your inventory full of some resources, sand for example. It makes you much heavier to drag.
If you have a locked building or a vehicle. Drag yourself towards it. You cannot be dragged elsewhere unless someone breaks the lock etc.

This is what I meant by 'somewhere safe'. I'm glad someone is better at explaining this stuff than me.. :D Ha.

Oh and train everyday, Seko posted this table of how much it all effects dragging here..

SekoETC wrote:The maximum dragging value a person can have is 149. The minimum a completely healthy and not tired person can have (assuming they're the weakest and clumsiest person in the world) is 14. If someone is 100 % tired, their contribution is 0 no matter how strong or weak they are.

Other values, assuming 0 tiredness and woundedness, and being average in their ranking inside the skill/strength category:

Code: Select all

        Awkward   Novice   Efficient   Skillful  Expert
MWTA:   28        44        60          77        93
WTA:    39        55        71          87       104
AVG:    50        66        82          98       114
STA:    60        77        93         109       125
MSTA:   71        87       104         120       136

You can see that skill weighs slightly more than strength. So for example someone who is expert but weaker than average corresponds to someone who's efficient and much stronger than average, and someone who's expert but weaker than average corresponds to someone who's efficient and much stronger than average.

The minimum needed to drag a person is 60, even if they were weak, tired and/or wounded, so there's some built in protection. Beyond that, a person's resistance is always double their offensive dragging value, so that's why you always get 50 percent when dragging yourself.

Strength needed to drag a victim who's:

Code: Select all

        Awkward   Novice   Efficient   Skillful  Expert
MWTA:    60        88      120         154       186
WTA:     78       110      142         174       208
AVG:    100       132      164         196       228
STA:    120       154      186         218       250
MSTA:   142       174      208         240       272

The exception is going to be that if someone is on a steed that's loyal to you, only 25% of the usual dragging value will be needed to drag them off, assuming one of the draggers is the steed's owner.
