I think it could be true... Animals are -really- heavy.... 250 kilo's sounds quite possible for a wisent, to me.

I didn't know there was an animal called a wisent.
None of my chars have ever encountered one. Sounds fun.

My character tamed one once, and 8 people couldn't even come close to budging it, let alone dragging it. She had to abandon it.

Wisents are also commonly called buffalo.

Wisent are European bison. Not quite the same as buffalo, or American bison... but fairly similar.

I looked it up... Wikipedia says the average wisent is 630kg. So, really, what we have is unreasonably light stone buildings!
