I can't comment on the coin system because first I am dumb and don't get it and second only one of my chars ever passed through a town that had them and I got the feeling they weren't taking off. What annoys me the most about Cantr? It's very simple: sleepy town leaders, sleepy town leaders, people who only seem to RP around the project ticks, oh and sleepy town leaders.

Cantr! What have you done to my time!?!?

How do you get those statistics?

That is less than 30 minutes/day spent on Cantr ... not really that much, isn't it?

naah, I have only been back on Cantr for like a month now.

So that's more like an hour at least. Which might still be considered not quite a lot but I've got CantrSpy running on my desktop so I usually just close my Cantr tabs unless there are some proper events taking place.

It seems to significantly under-count Cantr, but I'm not sure why. I've been playing for 15 minutes now and it still hasn't even credited me with a minute.

You mean 15 minutes actually moving your mouse on the tab and interacting with stuff? Interesting.

No, 15 minutes of spending time Cantring, which doesn't necessarily involve moving the mouse, since it is a game you mostly -read-.

I see the counting times out after 10 seconds of inactivity. That would explain everything.

Okay, I'm going to try to express this very carefully... because I don't want to offend anyone. And I mean that with all my heart.

I've run into some super awesome role players since I have returned to the game. And I've been having a lot of fun But... for some strange reason, and maybe its a coincidence, there's been a drastic increase in the amount of OOC communication in locations where many of my characters are. And often it seems to be really unnecessary and really disruptive to my enjoyment of the experience. I like to immerse myself in the experience, and having my character's friends and partners suddenly spew out OOC messages about the fact that they were up late because they had a final exam or a job interview or that they're going to be gone for two weeks because they have to visit their grandmother in Boise, or comment on the usefulness of the wiki... well.. you get the picture.

I want to stress that if it means losing great players, I will happily put up with the OOC. But it does annoy me.

I'm glad that the characters around my town aren't using OOC that much at all.
In general 'sleeping' simply equals 'busy in real life or actually sleeping'.

Ok, the tracker is indeed keeping track of Cantr correctly. I don't know if I can actually post my results here, in case my employer ever decided to sue me for stolen wages...
