Well-furnished ships and buildings

Postby SekoETC » Tue Jun 04, 2013 7:43 am

Let's brag about well-furnished locations.

One of my characters has a cottage with a porch (which is actually a shack) and the main room has a table, a couch, a wooden bench, a chair, a bed with a quilt, and a cabin trunk. The porch has a table and a rocking chair.

One of my other characters has a ship with a fur rug, cot and a bathtub.

One of my dead characters had a bed in a small cabin, limiting the space so much that two people could only enter with limited inventory.

Currently only 2 of my characters have a furnished home.

1. Cottage it has the main room and Attic, The main room is furnished having a Working bench, shelf, fireplace, iron chandelier and chair
The attic is a bit less furnished, but one can find it very detailed in description about architecture and such.

2. Stone extension. This is a single room shared by my character and my characters lover. The rooms is furnished nicely, cozy and warm (at least we think so)
One can see two shelfs, fireplace, fur rug and bed.

A lounge with two tables, four benches, two chandeliers, two fireplaces, candelabras, flowers in vases, and place settings for at least 15 people, plus side rooms with windows, fireplaces and mattresses.

A dungeon with a cage, chandeliers, sacrificial alter, throne, fireplace, fur rug and various implements of the trade lying about.

A ship with a fully furnished main cabin, including a bathtub, bed, chest, table, chairs, and fireplace.

All that plus a fur rug and an oven, silver dining set, and a feather bed on the deck for star-gazing.

A cabin kitchen which is a chef's delight, plus a feather bed and a bath tub on the deck.

Fully furnished room with a bed, fireplace, fur rug, bath tub, chandelier, candelabra, candles and flowers in vases. :(

It's in someone else's hands now, so I'm relying on my scarce memory here: I remembey my old, cozy, huge vessel and its bathtub, the throne, the fur rug, the amount of silver candelabras and half-consumed candles dripping their wax from almost every flat surface; the main cabin with the bed, a big buch of silk pillows, a fireplace, a chest full of precious stones, the nice armoire and the goblets and silver spoons to drink the brandy with sugar in. I know there were ovens and another cabin with several amphoras and steins full with booze to the brim, but I don't really remember what kind of ovens or even how many. I had mad fun with the descriptions and such, simple as I am.

Damn.

A dungeon with a cage, chandeliers, sacrificial alter, throne, fireplace, fur rug and various implements of the trade lying about.

DAMN. I have to know about this character now.

And I know it doesn't count yet, but I've got one at least planning some really extensive renovations to her new building. This is one character that's not going to be content calling an empty unfurnished warehouse a bedroom. I'm a little annoyed we can't build brick annexes though...an extension with enough room for thirty people is a bit much for a bathroom or a closet.

Most people have heard of that character. Just a few know about the room.

I'll give you a clue: The second room is inside the first room listed.

The Polish community really know how to beautify a building.

First time around I had a character spawn in a polish town. There were only two active english players including mine, but the polish treated them really well. They were taken into a building about four rooms deep to a restaurant. This place looked like a restaurant tons of tables and seating. We were even handed menus, written in Polish, so my character just ordered something without really knowing what they were getting, but we were served with plates and cups. Probably one of my fondest memories from my first time around. My character even got a sweet peck on the cheek from his dinner companion at the end of it. What a great Cantr memory.
