Something I did not want. I am quitting Cantr I have cancelled my account maybe I will try again later sorry everyone who I let down but I will not play as a pirate not my style plus it was in conflict with my only chars personality just figured it wasn't worth playing any more now I can focus on other games and stuff I donated 5 dollars I hope it helped thanks everyone who I played with.

From what a couple of my characters who had run across yours...I would say that you sort of brought that label on yourself with the character actions.

Okay. First of all, if you are labeled by other characters then there is likely a reason for it.

Secondly, what's so bad about being labeled as a pirate? Your character was misunderstood? Then it just adds to that character's story. The wonderful thing about cantr is that you have no control over all of the other characters played by all of the other players. It makes for some interesting stories

Clearly a case of mixing up OOC mythology, player and character all in one.

Odin, I think it would benefit you to read the wiki about what Cantr really is before you give it another try.

If you don't want to get labeled as a pirate, how about not attacking a town with boats? Since that's what pirates do.

Stealing from a town while people sleep is also a good way to get labeled as a pirate.

Not to condone it, but a town where many people sleep deserves to be stolen from.

What makes it even sadder is that there's a lot of people in that town.

The truth is, the most active of towns has its moments of sleepiness. Any treacherous and sneaky pirate wannabe can take advantage of that moment, jump on a boat and be gone. It happens.

It is simple.
If you steal you are a thief
If you steal and run off with a boat you are a pirate
If you sleep you are a sleeper

Guys... He won't be on the forum anymore, anyway.
(And his char didn't use to be a pirate, for what it's worth)

I hope I'm not stepping too far out of bounds here, but I think this was just a really soddy excuse for him to quit.

Actions have consequences
there is no Save & Reload option in Cantr
people should remember about that
if you screw up, all your characters can get hunted

If all your characters get hunted over what one of them did, that's a CRB by the hunters. But if all your characters get hunted because they act the same way (like asses or pirates) then it's not.
