Why are weekends so slow in Cantr?

You'd think that people would have more time to play during weekends but it always seems to slow down instead. Does it mean that a lot of people play during work time and have office jobs with access to computers, and tend to go out during the weekend? I work during week days and chill out during weekends, all I do during weekend is laundry.

Maybe it just seems like less is happening because you're not doing other things in the weekend?
Some weekend I'm less active because I'm with family, that could be what happens with more people.

I play mostly at work. When I'm home, I spend my time with my family and do work around the house. With two kids, the weekends are really the only time I can accomplish anything beyond eating, sleeping, working, and childcare.

I am active all around the week. No, i have not noticed weekends to be slower. Where do you characters live in have a lot of influence into this matter in my experience.

I usually can play on the weekends, but with univ. and now parents visiting for the weekends, I've been kinda busy lately. XD It'll change soon. Classes end next week. But now I need to find a job. XP

I agree with Seko. Mon-Fri are busy most of the time, weekends are slow. I like it that way though, as I usually have stuff to do during the weekends.

We should all make an extra effort to have uninteresting lives, thus forcing us back into the warm embrace of this lovely game.

It seems that being at work gives people greater incentive to check in on their characters.

Then there are those of us who are retired.
I have no excuse.

I don't really get that, as if one is working, they shouldn't have time for Cantr, except on breaks/lunches.

Maybe if someone is like a receptionist or a secretary, they might spend time just waiting to answer phones and play on the computer in the meanwhile. I'm a kitchen worker so I don't even see a computer while I'm at work.

I work at my computer all day long, so I check Cantr regularly. My boss doesn't mind as long as I get all my tasks at work done as usual. Right now my spare time life is rather busy, so I don't check Cantr as much after work or during weekends. Some days not at all.

Those are notable exceptions, especially if those above you are okay with it.

I wonder how many players play more often from work than they do at home. Poll time!

I play a lot (too much, to be honest) during college hours, but more at home.

I play at work when able to. I check it periodically but I run an office and I am at the computer all day long. My boss as well doesn't mind as long as I get the work done that needs to be done. And especially during the wintr time, things are slow for the ice machine company so there's a lot of spare time. The Summer months are different that's when we get real busy.
