I'm so sorry

Postby Estaar » Tue Mar 12, 2013 11:13 am

Dear All,

I just got the announcement that my Cantr account was closed for inactivity and that all my characters have died. I feel truly terrible about that, not only for all of them dying so senselessly, but above all for all the other players around them who so faithfully kept them alive during all this time. It almost makes me wish I had never started to play.

To all of you who kept mine alive for so long I say: Thank you very much for believing I might come back and I am truly sorry that I have let you down.

Playing Cantr and meeting all your characters was an amazing experience, and I hugely enjoyed it while it was going on. I am thinking of a few of you that I would like to thank and praise in person, and maybe I will do so in the next weeks, once I'm able to look back without feeling wretched.

Life took over, and I simply could not find the heart to go on anymore. I'm sorry that I chose this way to end it.

I can't speak for anyone else and this is lame, but I need to say it: please, don't feel distressed. First is first and... well, they will understand. You chose the way you could afford in that moment, or the one that was less "hard" to choose, or whatever, and I'm sure all your creations will be missed, and you will surely miss lots of them too, but life can get so damn complicated...

The letting go is hard, but you shared things, time, moments, thoughts, feelings, all those interactions... I think it's normal feeling sad, but also privileged. Hold onto the amazing memories.

I hope life stays peaceful, nice and fulfilling for you and yours. And I also, being selfish, hope you'll find the heart to come back to the green world in the future.

Take care and good luck.

Life should come before play. :) Don't feel bad about it. I will miss at least one of your chars though.

Can't say it as nice as Nancy... But you and your chars will be missed. (Especially two of them by me :P)
