Ha ha ha, I have a certain character that would very much enjoy feeding the animals off silverware... I might just have to look into it.

A question about hunting with birds...
How is the damage they do calculated? Does it involve skills, and if yes, hunting? or animal husbandry? or both? And in what proportions? Or does that depend on the bird, just like weapons?

Boars eat both meat feed and vegetable feed? Birds eat only meat feed and Alpacas/mouflons eat hay? Can alpacas and mouflons also eat vegetable feed? Cows only like hay?

In my personal experience neither mouflon nor black sheep eat vegetable feed.

I think this was a "find out in game" thing.... In short, could be, try it to be sure

So, I can't hunt rabbits with my hawk? Are they supposed to show up on the weapon pull down?
Edit: Or do you have to adopt them first?

You need to adopt it first.

If I understood the explanation correctly, you'll have to get them in your inventory... The adopted birds then just act like an object, a weapon in the case of hunting.

Why does a cow take 9 or 10 people to move?
I have moved cows IRL, it takes
one person and a bucket of feed.

Also... Holding a domesticated animal in my inventory, does it still eat from a trough, and, would it eat from a suitable container that's also in my inventory?

It's a normal attack, so uses fighting or hunting skill. Values are now available on the wiki.
When animal is in inventory, then it can eat only from containers in inventory.

Hmmm, too bad, it doesn't use animal husbandry instead of skillweight

My char will have to start training his hunting now

Thank you Greek

Does a bag you're wearing count as in your inventory as well, for feeding?
So, if I wear a bag, will the bird eat from it?
