I was wondering, what is the longest prison sentence ever served in Cantr, and why? Have any of your characters ever had ultra-long sentences and served them in their entirety?

I had one who was imprisoned for life for murder, he lasted eleven years.

I think it was just 30 days or so but it felt like a really long time. I could be remembering all wrong. There was a prisoner in Kiii who lasted a really long time but eventually died sleeping. He was serving a life sentence.

More often than not, characters in prison tend to not cooperate and end up dead. I don't think I've ever had any character in prison, my charries always get the death penalty.

Almost ten years for one of mine, of an indefinite sentence basically for passing through a town at a bad time. He and the others had just days left before starving when they were rescued.

I have a character that lures new characters into a locked room, just for the sake of it.
With feeding, I think one survived about 100 days.
Shame though, because he wanted to roleplay, and the only emote I use is *cries* :S

They said that its impossible to escape and i would not see daylight ever again. But, I did the impossible! Lured one of the ladies of village to free me. Then i looted the villages kitchen empty took some iron tools and town leaders underpants! I left village by stealing a dinghy, noone have yet caught me.

I wouldn't want to be imprisoned alone. That's awful.

Your character wasn't imprisoned, and he didn't lure anyone. He is just a thief.

I'm kinda interested in getting into this kind of situation. I'm wondering what crazy fictional world the char would come up with for being stuck all alone from the very beginning of their life. I'm thinking copious amounts of notes would be needed. The reveal would be amazing, though to make it really awesome the guards would have to drag in food without looking inside the cell to see if the prisoner is still alive.

You have to admit though.... his is a much better story

I'd get bored, if I want to do something like that there's usually at least one character that might as well be alone.

I know of one extremely long sentence still going with a cooperating prisoner... But I'm quite sure I can't say much about that since it's still happening.

14 years. Alone after one year. It was my third character (3 years ago), which was created, after week after first two. He lasted till the "X".

Now I'm back.

A long time ago i had a character in jail long enough that they forgot why he was in jail and then let him out. He was in there for receiving stolen goods and refused to give them back. While in there he fashioned a spear and killed the other inmates, only to get more stuff. I think it was 5 years.

lol. Sounds like what a long term inmate would do in a real prison. Fashioning shanks, killing and robbing other inmates; you'd fit right in in any of our prisons.
