Which of your characters do you really miss, and why? How long does it take you to get over your favourite character's deaths?

Name spawnday deathday
Arra Sails 2259-2883
Jonathan Creedy 2294-2698

Both Dutch players, I had a lot of fun with the both of them :)

I don't miss them, and I didn't have to get over them, because back then I quit playing.

It only takes me a few days to get over a character's death. I'm over all of them, so I don't really miss any of them anymore.

Cherri Hill 1040 - 1799

Summer Daez 1069 - 2752

I am over their deaths, of course, but doesn't mean I don't miss them.

I miss several, but those were the first 2 that came to mind.

First round of Cantr:
Rynn, 8??-9?? or 10??
Tash, 8??-9?? (maybe)

Second round of Cantr:
Chaela McClurr, 1148-2178
Crazy Queen Hattie, 1152-2181
Sata, 1153-2768
Gwendolyn Renae Malet, 1158-2866
Sharra Lytol, 1162-2093
Ana, 1171-2261
Mariya Fayol, 1351-2426
Henri Mikhail Bunbury, 1365-2261
Cecily Glynham-Smyth, 1812-2261
Manola, 2868-3042

I miss these sometimes for various reasons (after looking through my character list); I'll see a situation and think, "Oh! this char would've loved/hated that!" or I'll be in the towns they used to live in and remember their days fondly and compare them to the current times.

I never had to get over most of their deaths though, because they happened during periods that I wasn't playing much. The only one I had to get over was Sata, because it was sudden and gave me no chance whatsoever to RP. I got over the death itself pretty quickly because her life was a pretty fulfilled one, but I'm still occasionally irritated by the circumstances. Tash was the first death I had to get over. It was kind of a shock and came at a bad time in RL, so I let my first round of Cantr fade away.

My very first favorite character from joining Cantr the second time around is still alive along with some newer favorites.

I don't miss my own characters as much as I miss the characters that were in their lives and interacted with them.

For sure, it was the characters around those that made them so fun to play.

Yeah, I have to agree. Part of missing a character is missing the RP and other interaction, even if your character was in a bad situation.

Buff Blackrock 969- 2685

It took me writing a novel to get over the loss of several of my characters off my first account. But I was pretty messed up back then.

Now, my current favorite character dwarfs any of my other characters, past or present. None of them can hold a candle to her in my affections.

I agree, a couple of my characters now are surpassing the earlier ones but this isa different time. Those in the 200's were involved in building up the world, making empty spaces into towns, battling opponents for the first to have iron shields, creating new clans and tribes... The characters now are different, loved in a different way.

I love my hermits, the ones alone on empty islands that are building up nothing into something. I love my characters in big cities that are building relationships and taking advantage of what riches they have... But it's different.

I don't know dates. But from my first account:
Pennilyn MacGregor
Kinley Heath
Francesca "Frankie" DeMornay
Lorilei

I know there were more, but it was 9 years ago I think? Geez.

From this account:
Avalon (stupid animals)
Brinlee (can't even remember why I let her go, that's what frustrates me. I think it was school starting and it was a hard choice to drop some or cancel all together)
Jayson (total accidental starving)

And that's all I can recall at the moment. There are characters who were around mine who have died and I miss, but that's for another day.
