It doesn't have a lot of sense having it that way...
It's better if they don't have any effect but they can be, at least, used.

The ones that restore energy (b, g, i, j, and n) have not any use, since that feature is not available in the game anymore. Same with tea.

Energy restoring liquids were disabled "temporarily" because the feature was vastly over-powered. Some time they will be enabled again when we find a way they could be used without unbalancing the whole combat system.

Yes I was aware of that information, but the suggestion is about the actual act of consuming then. If people want to keep the liquids, kudo's, but I plead for the ability to 'eat' them, if not anything else just make them 0.01% healing per 100 grams of something.
