Hi,

well, I think my question is the titel of this threat...... :)

Anyway, do you break the "Capital Rule" if you have two or more charakters in one city?? I mean, if they are working on the same project, giving each other things and so on....

I'm sorry 'bout this NEWBIE-question and I'm even more sorry if this question has been answered anywhere before...... now I hope it can not be read in the newbie guide, because THAT would be painful

THX,
AlTonno

But I think that's weired..... I mean, I created a new charakter, and the starting location is randomly generated..... so it's not my fault if this is the same city again?!?

Well, i think I'm completely wrong

Just let one of them decide to travel.

In any case, even if they are together in one town, there's no reason for them to even exchange a single word with each other.
Presumably, there are dozens of other people around to interact with.

And about the "newbie question". Rather to ask than to find yourself in trouble later. Asking is allowed, rule-breaking is not.
And: some players who would call themselves veterans rather than newbies still haven't understood that rule, so it's not a newbie question in the first place. ;)

Thank you, tom

Well, another question related to this: A friend of mine is also playing Cantr. And he is also in this town (I guess German has only one spawing location :) )

Can I do things with him?? So open a store, work on a project or whatever..... I hope this is possible, because I quess you would lose all of your friends if you make them playing cantr and not to talk to them ingame..... :o

thx,
chris

Your character is not allowed to start a business with another character if the only reason for this is that you (the player) know that your friend is behind that character.
You should try to avoid to form any kind of alliance with your friend, because that might get you in trouble later on.
However, if it's perfectly well rped, there's not much to argue against it. However², your character should not trust that charcater of your friend's any more than they would trust any other character in the game. Your character does not know in any way that the character of your friend's is trustworthy.

Summary: Interacting with your friend's characters is not per se disallowed, but it might mean trouble for you. The fact that you specifically asked if you were allowed to start a business with your friend seems to imply that your characters would cooperate with each other for OOC reasons. That's not allowed.
I would advise to talk to your friend's characters, but I would not advise to be business partners or any other kind of allies.

About the trusting part, it really depends on the character's personality too. If your character is of the trusting to the point of being extremely gullible type then he might be trusting.

But let me let you in on a little secret of mine. Playing paranoid characters is much more fun. The hijincks that occur are just gorram high-larious.
