I can't believe this! As if it's not hard enough to come by weapons!

Umm....what weapon change?

Ah...that is a hell of a lot of tools.
But I think it is good. No one uses any other weapons than sabres in the game and that's kind of boring.

The leather is kind of silly though.
A nation with no salt will fall because they can't make comfortable grips for their swords? Not likely...

lol and the broad sword as well, which had me confused for quite a bit
Not major changes I think, just 2 weapons I've noticed.

Yeah...doesn't this make the crossbow cheaper than the sabre, considering the tools required?

for the first, maybe. but tools are reusable.
anyway, i think sabres were actually too easy to make once you had steel. i like the change.

I like the change for one main reason, mind you that the majority of mine don't have sabres/crossbows or anything really beyond hunting bow and one with a war bow, and that reason is, it increases the demand for specific businesses and industries with specialties. Like actual Weapons Manufacturers etc....

Yeah, I like the change to.
This opens up for weapon blacksmiths as a profession.

Exactly. It'd be nicer if there were a few Carnegie's out there supplying steel for these smiths. Though thats kinda twisted, cuz its not monopolies and large Wal Marts that are what make it look good oocly-but small businesses working together.
Oh something else; WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE ALL CAPS TITLE? Kinda makes me felt as If I am being YELLED at and this thread is
trying to be special in an odd way collecting attn from the others. Ok, I guess I am over analyzing.

Yep. Just so everyone knows, there are going to be a lot more major changes to the weapons.
To clarify, the leather is for the hilt grip or something... ask Rkl.
Plus, a nation with salt will NOT be the only ones capable of getting the weapons. You must realise the process of making steel. You still need all those other resources, so trade will be an issue between locations that have one resource and another that has salt.
And, as for the Crossbow being cheaper... I'm not sure, but I think all current weapons will be changed (Or most at least, except for the simple ones, like a bone club and such) in order to make them more reasonable.
No body whine, because "Oh my god it's so hard to get a Sabre now!" - Well tough cookies. It should have been hard in the first place, to say the truth. Running around with the second strongest weapon cheaply - not good. No wonder the Cantr world has so many maniacs and power hungry morons

Yeah just wait until the resource dept adds something like feathers to bows.
Oh. Dammit. I bet they will now.
Better go kill me a toucan.
