Clothes weighted, change in icons

So I know apparently clothes weigh now, but it seems like only certain ones. Can someone list which clothes have weight and which don't? It's getting pretty confusing.

Also there's the icons changing, I don't know if they're all changed but someone told me the eat icon yesterday looked like an empanada or pie or something (they're on Firefox), but mine don't look like that(I'm on Chrome) but today after the game unlocked the dragging icon was changed too, and they have the eating and dragging icons changed on Firefox and Chrome. But I only have a changed dragging icon on Chrome.

I don't know if you're experimenting and that's why they're only showing on certain servers or computers or something, it's weird. But to be honest, I really really hate this new dragging icon and I hope I don't get whatever pie-thingie icon they were talking about LOL. I mean really... "eat" and "pull" can't be any more self-explanatory... don't you think this'll make things a little complex for new players and stuff? I dunno, it just seems frivolous and pointless to me when the icons that were there were fine... but that's just my opinion. Plus they kinda.. Idk, they like stand out and clash with the interface. I like the words and arrows more than little pictures...

EDIT: wrong names of servers

I'm not sure why they were changed, but I one positive reason is that you don't have to translate pictures into different languages, then create and store them as separate buttons with logic to read which language group the current character is in before displaying the appropriate one.

The only thing that bothers me is that the icon for dragging resources and dragging people are still different, when I can't see any reason for them to be. Especially because the icon used to drag people is the same as the one used to add a resource to a project, which is the same one to initiate a project when displayed on machines.

Yes, it's weird to not use ctrl+r before posting such post. Yes, these buttons are for all players. I hope you are happy.

New action images is my work and I think we should have images where should be images.
You didn't mention another bad change - store button was converted from png to gif. How could you miss it?

That new pulling icon was developed because I was rewriting objects&inventory code, I didn't touch anything not related to these two pages. It will be changed eventually during the changes of people page. (Yes, there are still some things to be done)

I'm not sure what you mean, I'm looking and all storage stuff looks normal. I just wanted to know 'cause it was confusing me. And yeah I've noticed other things, just like note icons being switched around. LOL I went to view one note and almost copied it instead but I realized the icons were switched. That's not really that bad though, they still look the same. It makes sense about the languages though.

That change in icons order wasn't intended, maybe I should make it as it was. But it was minor thing, which I overlooked, because changes are much bigger than it looks like.

LOL I think you're pulling my chain XD

Yeah I almost didn't notice the notes LOL.

Oh and thanks for all the pointing buttons, that's great, it's nice to be able to point anything out when you need to ^ ^

Does anyone have any info on the clothes weight thing? Is it only certain items?

I think the drag icon is way more confusing now. :?

It and the eat icon don't really feel like they fit graphically compared to the other icons (though the eat seems to fit a bit better). You did a nice job on them, but I'm not really a fan of them for the game. I think the others were nice and explanatory enough.

And before you say more things about people not liking change; I do like some changes, and I don't like others. I realize change is an integral part of life. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't point out changes that I do not like much or that my feedback should be blown off simply because it's resistant to whatever particular change that I don't like.

I have loved a lot of changes you guys have made and am thrilled that you are working so much on the game. Some changes just seem to make less sense to me, like this.

Yeah clothes weigh now. There was never an announcement, I looked all over. I didn't know about it until one of my chars had to to a weight test and it turned into a strip search. Which means now if someone makes you weight test they can take all your clothes and everything if they want =\

:(

Most of mine will refuse a weight test if it involves removing clothes they are wearing. Depends on who is doing the testing.

I feel this will lead role play in an unwanted direction and the game is seedy enough. I don't like this change at all.

I'm not sure what you mean. They could already make sure you were naked anyway just by looking at your character description. Previously, you just had the option to hide your clothes in bodily orifices. But I'm not sure how this makes things more seedy - the ability to ensure you were naked was already there.

The primary function of most weight tests is to make sure you aren't holding keys, hidden weapons, or healing food. Yes, this now means your character would have to strip down I suppose, but again, if that was the aim of the other char - they could already determine whether or not you were wearing clothes.

Example one. My female character weight tests a male character. He now needs to be told to strip. I'm sure you can imagine some of the replies.

Example two. My female character is asked to submit to a weight test by a male character. He is crude n the way he demands mine strip. If she strips she is vunerable and it could be taken as consent for 'other' coments and implications. If she refuses, it just confirms her guilt, not her players desire to not have a character abused.

You could simply note the weight of the clothes worn, and compensate.
Say leave two items (at currently 10g each), and assume 14,980 still free to load.

I do see the seedy aspects though, and here are already char types I wish to avoid in game, as I suspect many do.
