The End of the Alexian Empire
Does anyone see the similiarities between the end of Rome and now the end of the Alexian Empire?
I do sort of see DoUrden and Alenz Hills as barbarians who have defeated the Alexian Empire now with all of the other places uprising now that it seems the Alexian Empire does not have the strength to keep itself together seems pretty similiar to exactly what happened to Rome.
The Huns, a very powerful barbaric European groups, breaking Rome's back as well as allowing for the uprising of many groups of people that had bene suppressed by the Roman Empire for centuries. Seems the same to me.
It is also like how the Romans had a certain way to fight and was the main reason why they defeated the barbarians but when the smarter barbarians came along and used Rome's tactics against them Rome fell to pieces.
This is sort of how DoUrden and Alenz Hills has been able to defeat the superior Alexian Grand Army and Imperial Guard without losing many people or even none.
I think these similiarities are quite striking. Plus, the Alexian Empire lost many great and good leader in the last few years. Some factions of the Empire have broken off (sort of like how the Roman Empire broke into Eastern and Western Roman Empire) to form their own little groups or try to rebuild the Alexian Empire in their own vision.

That would be Byzantium (Naron). Known today as Istanbul which was later sacked "by a force from the desert".
Then resacked by the barbians.
Rome problem towards the end was more to do with population. They lost a great number to a plague but couldn't or didn't change the tax structure. It was run by dimwits often before that time and it didn't change much. The original set up of the armies and the tax worked for centruies. So we didn't get the dimwit test in Lad. I don't think Lad would have survivied it.

I also hear some backstabbing of their (ex) Official Commander who ins't present with false reports- which isn't too nice, since both OOCly and ICly I and he believes that he benefitted Naron vastly. O.o
