Assuming that walking speed is 10 units per day
and normal human walk speed is 5 km/h and normally a man can travel 12 hours per day
this mean that 10 units = 60 km
If all my assumptions are true than I've estimated that the world from far East to far West is around 38 677 km

Re: How big is Cantr?
But I'm wondering how to compare 10 units walking speed to 10 pixels biking speed (on path) for example.

Don't forget there are only eight total hours in a Cantr day.

Re: How big is Cantr?
Nice, but I seeing as how in cantr we can walk for the entire day, and not just half days as in real life. You have on average 40% of the time you would have in real life. (24x60=1440 8x36=288 1440/288=5 but walking full days instead of half means 5/2=2.5 1/2.5x100=40%)
38677 / 6 = 6446,167 units from east to west right?
traveling at 10 units per day makes 644.6167 days from east to west
normally: 60 km per day, in cantr only 24 km. So that would be a mere 15471 km...
Ps: I allready had about 5 pints of lager and a few shots (A)

12 hours on 24-hour daily basis.
Basically we should agree that normal human walk is 60 km per day
Other 12 hours human rest, eat and sleep.

What are you considering far east to far west?

From the top middle to the bottom middle of one of the maps I found in the game.
Henkie, don't forget that you walk all the day in Cantr, but Cantr isn't RL
Actually I suppose that one man walk for one day the same distance in Cantr and in RL - that's the main hypothesis.
Here's how I made my calculations: I've calculated the distance in pixels that I've walked for one day. I converted the pixels on the map to kilometers (supposing that Cantr man walk 60 km per day). Than I scaled the map of the island to the map of the whole world.
And after all calculations I ended with circumference of about 39 000 kilometers of Cantr Earth.

That might work if Cantr were a sphere. But it's not; it's a torus (donut shape).

What Snick said. Also, what map are you referencing? That's pretty critical to the experiment.
