Wow... That note travelled some distance. I'm so jealous of that discovery. I hope the note eventually returns to Cantr City and gets preserved in a library, for future generations to admire. Oh, and I thank you for sharing it here.

3431-5.19: You novicely kill a badger using a bare fist.
4037-4.03: You expertly kill an elephant using a crumbling bone spear.

Fun. The oldest note I've found is from the 300s. Unfortunately, I have no idea which of my characters has it, nor what envelope it would be in.

Nauro was a friend of mine that i was trying to get into the game. He didn't play very long. I started playing probably 9 months before that note.

Hopefully you run into my character's town. It's on the same island, away from the coast and could use more people.

So there are more people in the middle of that island then... I've had a character wandering around on there for a couple of decades and only ever met a few newspawns, or nearly newspawns, most of them sleepers.

Mine would love to find people awake.
The only one she really knew slept.. died a few days ago.

Re: Found an old historical note :)
The oldest note any of my characters have found says its from 14. I don't know if it's a fake or if they abbreviated the year or anything like that, but my character thought it was pretty neat.

Re: Found an old historical note :)
The oldest note in the database is a diary covering day 0.
It does not actually exist in the game still though.
Also interesting to read about Tirqci in the above note, since one of the oldest notes that actually still can be found in game is a price conversion note from Tirqci Black Market. It has no date on it though, so it wouldn't be obvious if someone found it.

Re: Found an old historical note :)
I was #13
I made an account just to reply to this thread. I was talking to a coworker about a game I used to play forever ago and went to the forums to see what was going on. Could not for the life of me remember my username.
Lance Vanderbilt was my first character. I can't remember when he was created. My account# was 3336 if that dates me at all.
Everyone in Cantr City was given free bread from the bakery. We all pitched in and gathered wheat and helped in the bakery. I think at that time it was the largest populated town without an edible raw resource.
