Cantr II Discussion Forum

I saw a pretty interesting thread ("Top 100 GBA Games") on one of the Gamefaqs forums and thought it'd be fun to take the idea and bring it over to the Cantr forum.

So here's the deal. Post a list of your top 10 favorite Cantr characters in order from 1 to 10. You can choose them on any criteria: most fun to RP with, most consistently played, most wakeful, hardest working simmers, whatever, etc, blahblahblah...

I'll keep track of the totals and just like in other "Top 100" posts each character will get points according to the placement on your list, so #1 will get 10 points, #2 will get 9 points, etc.

Please only list characters that are currently living or have lived for the greater part of this year. The reason for this is if this thread becomes popular, I'd like to start a new one each year.

Also please don't list your own characters because that's no fun.

If at any point you would like to update your list, you may do so, but please DON'T UPDATE YOUR ORIGINAL POST. Instead, start another one by typing UPDATE in all caps and then refer me to the page number of your previous post.

If you'd like to submit your list anonymously to lessen risk of exposing your own characters you may PM me.

Please only list characters that are currently living. If a character died very recently and almost everyone currently posting may have had a chance to interact with them, that would be an exception and you can use that character. 1. If this is a list of chars WE consider our own favorites, then why the clause about how many people have had a chance to interact with them?

2. If this is a list based on a RL calendar, then I would think any char living during the year could be included. Again, not based on how many people may or may not have interacted with them.

Fair enough. That's basically what I meant. I just was trying to avoid a list full of characters from the 1000s that barely anyone has even heard of.

2. Stone Knight Cade ( mostly not brain damaged)

3. Shimei ( Only mute char that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out)

4. Stone Knight Adrian Myira ( for being the d*ck he is)

5. Byran on Aki ( for shocking the shite out of me, that char keeps getting more and more interesting...glad I didnt starve him.

6. Wonder (for not being overbearing with his rp but just enough to keep the goals running)

Honorable mentions:

Echo of Nraam. Your comedic timing was sharp. Too bad I wasn't home to feed you.
Divea Starquist. Sharp as a tack and a workhorse.
Rosesliz Printemps. I met you once, but you intrigued me.
Dante Nurfort. You remind me of someone my character used to dance with. You'd be higher on the list if you'd have stuck around.
Anitra Drinkwine. Your sheer force of will to not starve off gets you here.
Tom Vacabou. Your map is just. Well...wow. Best ever.
Fighter. You'd make the list, but you're dead.

I can't help but notice, Masterekat, that you have (for example) Santos on your top 10, but it doesn't appear on the top 100 list, even though he obviously has 7 points...

Thanks, gejyspa! I waited until really late (for me) to compile the list, so I may have looked over a few. I'll recheck everything again tonight.

EDIT: Santos is on there with 8 points. Characters ranked as 3rd get 8 points, 2nd gets 9, and 1st gets 10...Was that just an example, or does anyone see any others that are missing?


And Sunni, or anyone for that matter, if you want to PM me your list I can add those characters anonymously. I'll wait until I get a few PMs to update so I don't out anyone accidentally. Totally up to you though.
