One of my characters wants to build a reciever in a vehicle so I read up about it on the Cantr Wiki here http://wiki.cantr.net/index.php/Vehicle_radio_%28receiver%29
On that page it says the receiver picks up messages "from nearby medium radio transmitters". Does that mean they don't pick up messages from other types of transmitters?

Re: Question about Vehicle Radios
I believe this is true: "Everyone in the same location as a receiver in range and set to listen to the transmitter's chosen frequency hears the message. The speaker and transmitter are not identified; the message is along the lines of "you hear a radio message 'Mary had a little Lamb.'" "
So as long as you're in the transmitters (or repeaters) range you will pick up the message.

Re: Question about Vehicle Radios
The radios in the vehicles used by some of my characters just seem to pick up the same radio transmissions as those of the building based models, if this helps?
I imagine, if they are in range of 'any' transmitter... they'll pick it up.
