Locked up

So my character was just dragged into a locked room for absolutely no reason. Is there seriously nothing I can about this except wait to starve to death? This is absolute bullshit.

Knock on the door, push notes under it. Try to convince people outside that you won't do again what you did to be locked...

I wrote an article on imprisonment but it's unavailable since the webzine is down. But not all people who lock up others are jerks. Usually there's some sort of a reason.

The English ones who locked up my Spanish character were jerks.
They locked her in a food pantry, dragged someone else in (whom they proceeded to kill), looted the place, and....several days later they (the original Spanish folks there) broke the lock and freed her, but not before she fell ill.
So boring, but kind of fun to play the aftermath.

The least you could do when locking someone up is keep some communication with them. My char has been locked up in the captains cabin for several days now and he's tried knocking on the door sending out notes and the only thing hes gotten is the captor to come in twice both times while i was sleeping and try to hit me, both times missing me, I've run out of food and have considered just hitting myself to end what appears to be an unending capture

Sorry. Seems justice was served though.

She trusted yours! She's very glad he's dealt with, and wants the other dealt with too. That isn't normally like her!

Know what's frustrating though? When you go through the trouble of role-playing an evil char, and when justice comes to him/her, the enemies don't do the same. Just lock you up, attack you every day wihtout a word until it's over... I hate that.
It's just not fair to my char after all the trouble he went through to arrive at that point in time. And sure, life is often just as anticlimactic, but we have friggin' guns. There's no excuse to do that when it takes days to kill someone if you're doing it alone.

What's most frustrating about my situation is that I didn't do anything. At all. In fact, I had things stolen from me, but didn't even put up a fight about it. One person wordlessly just dragged me into an inner room, so it's not even connected to anyone. My knocking goes unheard, my notes go unnoticed.
This is extremely frustrating, and I can't believe that the game mechanics allow this to happen. They could just leave me in there until I starve to death... but why? I can't even fight my way out of this room? What did I do to deserve this?
It makes me want to quit the game altogether. I worked hard on that character, to have it all taken away for no reason.

That's why you have 20 character slots.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people but it shouldn't let you turn bitter. Okay, if it does turn you bitter then it's better to quit, but I'm sure your other characters have reasons to live for. It would be good if buildings weren't so sound-proof, so people outside couldn't help hearing if somebody was yelling.
