Oh hell yes, please.

Maybe music needs something, but I'm not sure this is it.

For anyone who may be confused as to where I stand--I want this more so that I can link an audio file to music notation of some sort in a note so that people who are reading the note that has sheet music (or some other type of notated music) can actually understand what it is supposed to sound like. I'd like to be able to be allowed to do this while 'playing' music as well, but for me, I'd use this more so that I could write nice compositions in game--national anthems, songs to go with poetry, what have you--and have them understood by the layman. Then, if my character or others said that they were playing a certain song, people could reference a copy of the note that actually has the sound file linked on it.

Of course, this could go on to different aspects of the game and maybe have some sort of music-making system added, but I simply want permission (and have wanted permission forever) to be able to add a link to a midi file to notes. That's it.
