Drow Language Area

Anyone interested?
I tried getting people interested about perhaps a year ago after the Drow Language experiment of mine was ended with the death of Falkirk Corla and the massacres of Drojf by Maynard Leeward. But there was a lack of interest then. I have been led to believe that there are a good number of people, experienced players, that might be interested. If so then we might be able to get a language area or spawning location created for Drow.
You will not need to know Drow in order to play. There is a really good translator online that will translate Drow from English and English from Drow. A lot of the Drow language is still incomplete so it also might be fun to play with an underdeveloped langauge and sort of develop it over times in Cantr.
If you are interested then post below.

I have no clue what Drow is, but it does sound like fun. Is it some kind of "fantasy" language?
Anyhow, I'm interested.

It's the poor man's Quenya, basically.
It's a made-up dark elf language --for R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books, I believe--without all the back-story and linguistic awesome of Tolkien's Elvish.

The Driow language was invented far before R. A. Salvatores books (I read them all! Almost all of them, anyway) - interesting language.
I must admit, it WOULD be interesting to find a place with their OWN created language, but not really one that already exists. Although I guess Drow could count for this, since it's not a "real" language humans use.
...Anyway, if Drow gets put in, someone better put in Klingon too...

Shut up with your Klingon, Anthony

. Anyways yes I would be interested in a drow language group and I had already asked Sammigurl, Nitefyre and NVN about this. They all said they would enjoy a Drow language group if one was made. So you have 4 more people RKL.
Oh and yes R.A. Salvatore is a bitchin writer and quite a few good games were based off of his books like Icewind Dales and Baulders Gate. Right now I am reading the Silent Blade series (forgot actual name).

Yes and you all said it would not be. Now look upon yourselves fools for it has spread like wildfire through out your people and your lands. You mortals shall surely perish.

Actually, the games are based off the Forgotten Realm Campaign Setting for AD&D when it was under TSR. TSR then turned it into a book series which contain the Drizzt Do'Urden series. After Wizards of the Coast bought TSR they did away with AD&D but kept the book series of the campaign settings like Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance (my personal favorite) which have always and still are a success.
Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, and now Neverwinter Nights are based off the original campaign settings for the Forgotten Realms in 2nd Edition AD&D and original concept. R. A. Salvatore's books of Drizzt Do'Urden (I believe he did another Forgotten Realm trilogy that wasn't a Drizzt one)were just based in the already created campaign setting. And Drow was created long before he wrote those books. The only thing that is really original from Salvatore are the characters and the story. The world and about everything else was alredy there. There are also a good 20 authors who write in that series but in my opinion R. A. Salvatore is the best.
Now I really like Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman and their groundbreaking Dragonlance novels which if it wasn't for them then we wouldn't be reading about Drizzt and his companions.
I am hoping someday Drizzt finds his way to Krynn. Supposedly the AD&D worlds were connected by portals. Some say that Tasslehoff Burrfoots has been to the Forgotten Realms. God, I love kender.

Damn someone actually knew that

. Oh well I was hoping people were fools, and the only thing R.A. Salvatore created was Drizzit. He has even been copy writed for creating drizzit =\.
