Coreen River Bluff (CRB)
Scene:
CRB sits at the end of the Coreen River, high up on a cliff overlooking the sea. The river thunders over the cliff and into the sea below, making a rainbow every time it's sunny.
Resources:
copper, gold, marble, carrots, wheat, salmon, hematite,
Resources within one location away:
wood, grass, sand, blueberries, stone,
If you spawn one character here, and everyone's characters would spawn simultaneously (so there was no one then everyone), what would your character strive for? What would they be like? Just a fun little exercise.

I think I'd play one of those annoying people who go swimming in public instead of working on anything useful, although it would be nice to get jewelry out of that gold.

Re: Coreen River Bluff (CRB)
I think that between the beautiful scenery and all the shiny metals, my character might just become fascinated by it all. Perhaps, working diligently to gather metals of all available and make iron and hematite. Eventually, leading to making jewelery, and the occasional tool (though, the tools might just have to be prettied up in order to have my name attached to it as the maker
).
Pretty things can be very captivating.

My character would be female and also seek to work in a position of authority for whomever establishes themselves as the town leader. They also would probably not like Seko's character.

No limestone, so no iron or steel. Pretty sure that also means no gold jewelery. In addition, there is no tin to make bronze.CN wrote:I think that between the beautiful scenery and all the shiny metals, my character might just become fascinated by it all. My character would probably go and live in the forest, hunting for meat and then smoking it.

Re: Coreen River Bluff (CRB)
I'll be honest, I'd probably (rather quickly) work out what the best things we could build would be. I'd then keep suggesting them to the leader until that leader gave up and had a heart attack.
We'd have drying racks and smokers pretty quick. Looks like salmon and roasted carrots everyday! Gold, marble & hematite are useless resources in a stone-age society. Composite recurve bows and wooden shields all round!
We have animals to hunt, right?

I'd definitely spawn female since Doug's char will want to castrate all the males. And no burkas since there's nothing to make them from!

Re: Coreen River Bluff (CRB)
Mine would be a hippie that just laid back and enjoyed life. Would probably make friends(or other) as quickly as they could with Surly's character, hanging off of and around to benefit from his work ethic. Would probably spend time between that, and laying around nearby friend Seko as they swam. Would have no motivation to do anything and live off carrots and wheat products. Would constantly be smoking grass and telling telling everyone to stop stressing, and getting on the nerves of everyone with goals.

Mine, as soon as they realise they can't make crossbows and shoot everyone for the sake of shooting everyone, would jump off the cliff.
Nah, I'm kidding, I'd probably make a character with some happy medium between striving for something and being annoying because I roleplay instead of just working on projects.

I'd probably spawn a female character who would goof around a lot and get on the nerves of the goal-oriented people. Eventually, she'd probably make some short exploration trips, either by herself out of boredom or with a friend in search of exciting things.

I'm amused that we all, with the exception perhaps of Surly, would spawn female xD
