French Area

Postby Emandir » Sun Apr 04, 2004 7:32 am

Are we French speakers supposed to be an underdeveloped race in Cantr World?
Comparing with the English area (I know nothing about the other ones), we desperately lack food and, above all, nobody has seen iron there for a long time!
That is to say we can't build many things and are compelled to stay in the Stone age!

There's a fine French restaurant down the road...if you're lacking in food.

Well, it's hicks speaking French in America. Nobody understands them when they're speaking English.

Anyways, do you have hicks in France? Maybe some rednecks too?

Oh, I know what Cajun is : I've heard some on the tv...

Nobody understands them when they're speaking English.

Mon dieu ! And we don't understand them when they speak "French"!
Are they condemned to speak alone?

Some? France is the country of rednecks!

Isn't it possible to just set up a bakery of some sorts? There is wheat or something, right?

No language group has been put in a weak or strong area on purpose - this was really done arbitrarily. But it might be that the French are not located very nicely in terms of food. But, if you set up a bakery or food distribution or something, you should be fine, and with the resources you can find you can trade with other groups that might have more food available. Just organise yourselves! ;)

You might in fact get stronger out of it, because the situation requires you to organise.

And the French are not alone - there are also some English locations that know this problem (e.g. Cantr City) or in other language groups.

But Cantr city has food in the areas around it(like Alenz Hills), the french area isn't like that, my char arrived in a place that isn't a forest and it didn't even have food :( Now my char is just travelling around hoping that he will find food somewhere.

Bah stop yer cryin O-o theres food in the french area, just have to find it , and iron... iron is alot easier to get than you all think, just work at it instead of complain. (meant to every single post/topic where i have seen people complain about the iron change, i dont like it either but it isnt as hard to get as you think.)

Well  I always thought Chirac was a little lesser on the manners and alll, didn't know all of france was like that.... =D

Well some societies in Cantr seem to be far ahead and behind the other, in the English areas, for example the Aki Island is fucked with animals and everyone dying, while in naron, animal attacks are rare.

So although mean of the RD if it is true that the French are handicapped...it is kinda neat to have less and more developed areas due to resources. Compare New York to Tibet.
