Cantr II Discussion Forum

I'm not 100% sure how this will go, but here's the idea:

Forum members will nominate other forum members for a forum award with a reason why at this thread. Members of the Public Relations Department (which has representatives for different language groups) and GAB can then vote and decide on the winners. I'd rather not restrict these voters from being able to win an award, but they at least won't be able to vote for them self.

Another option could be to just have one "Poster of the Month".

The reward would most likely be a forum rank title (possibly an image if we can get that to work). Feel free to suggest other possible rewards. One user can only win once every year. The awards are given every month preferably. The nominations end on the last day of the month.

Now, please start the nominations!

Can we nominate non-forum stuff too? Like I think Joo should get a serious award for CantrSpy.
And Doug and Seko for being Doug and Seko.

Sure. I'm not sure what to call the award though.

Maybe Joo can decide? I got nothing.
And Doug and Seko could be like...friendliest staff? Or like Forum Angels? ('Cause they speak the word of Jos who is God but deal with humans regularly)?

Spam reporting diligence (for 2010/2011)

Whether its luck or purpose, these four names show up a ton in the past year for reporting spammers. Many times I'm like ooh, spam, and when I go to report it I'm like damnit, <oneofabovefour> already got it. I know, lame nomination, but hey, none of you lot are even trying!

I will willingly accept that award, and I like to thank for that... ALL THE OTHER CHARACTERS THAT ARE NOT SHOWING UP TO INTERACT WITH MINE SO I'M BORED OUT OF MY SKULL SO INSTEAD OF CHECKING CANTR EVERY FIVE MINUTES, I"M REDUCED TO CHECKING THE FORUM EVERY FIVE MINUTES AND FIND SPAM... Oh, I'm sorry, did I sound bitter? Well, at least with the play out of the way, I will more time available in the evenings for interactions, if there indeed every any to be found. *takes a breath*

Interestingly enough, I read the middle of the forum last (where the spam reports go), so I almost always find the spam and get rid of it before I see the reports for it.

What I also find impressive is how fast the spam disappears before I get to it.

@Doug: so you're saying our spam reports are entirely unnecessary? Gee, thanks, I feel special.
