Missing Options

I'm not sure if this is posted somewhere else or if I'm even in the right part of the forum, but for me the game is missing a few things. When I click the link to make items and all that, it gives me an error and I have to use the HTML version of the list. I noticed the the HTML version did not have an option to make a bone spear. I don't know if there is anything else missing, or if anyone else is having this problem.

Spears can, and more often than not were, used for throwing rather than stabbing. It makes sense, though I've stumbled on it too.
