Is there any sort of official Cantr Twitter of Facebook?

I am actually looking to create a Cantr based social network type site for players to showcase their characters (past and present, w/o violating CR of course) as well as provide whatever info they wish to give.

Sounds interesting! I'm probably talking out of turn, but as a new player a twitter or facebook post saying the game is down would be easier to come across than sifting through the forums for information.

I prefer the IRC.

I believe there is a Cantr twitter account, and there are two Cantr groups on Facebook, but they're not really active.

As for the Cantr Facebook group, the one featuring the wikipedia page on it is the one I stalk daily.

I didn't even know there was a Facebook group...and never thought to look! I'll be in it in like.....13 seconds

I don't see how you could showcase present characters without violating the CR.

It's not a CRB to tell everybody who you play. You just can't say what they've done in the last 4 days (or longer if it's related to ongoing events).

I put in a request to join the cantr FB group, but no one has accepted me, who is the mod?

There is also an inactive google+ page

I didn't think that was something you needed to be approved for.

I have absolutely no idea why you can't get there anymore. What server are you trying to connect to?
