I think 200min is fine. If you want more then maybe you should send some money in to help host this site and pay for better server stuff. Like $10 for 300min every day for a month. That's 3000 more minutes than normal.

$$$$$$$

Note: Sending in money will not give you any extra minutes. There aren't any premium services for Cantr II.

Perhaps that would be a good idea though, make the Cantr gods somewhat able to pay the bills.

Like 200 mins for the modest user, and to those generous, maybe they get 100 more mins for 10 dollars a month?

Though, a free 300 min would be good as well.

I want 300 minutes as well. :D I do however understand that that would strain the servers.

I would be prepared to pay to play if that was an option..

This has been suggested many time before but each time Jos has shot it down. He doesn't want to divide the players between each other with those that pay and those that don't. It will also creates an unfair disadvantage for Cantr players that cannot pay for a premium account.

If you want to donate money to Cantr II that is possible but you won't get any extra minutes or any special priveleges for doing so.

The coding to implement a p2p game for certain players would be very easy. I think that players should be able, if they so desire, to pay for extra minutes. The main issues here are the unfair advantage these players might gain, and strain on the server. The income that this would bring in would augment the normal cash flow greatly. This means more money for the server. Faster processors, better connections, whatever. As for an "unfair advantage" I'm fine with 200 minutes. I've learned to ration them in a way that at the end of the day I still have 20 minutes floating around just in case something comes up. The people that would be using this are more than likely the people who like to see just exactly what is happening in each of their characters locations over long periods of time. I'd be all for a Cantr II Premium Version.

This may have been suggested before and Jos may well shot us down with flaming hot dogs. But I want to see the numbers and discuss the topic. There is no harm in that. Anyways who is to say that some of us more privilaged people might well pay out some bread so that all peoples can get those extra minutes...Sort of like a fund raiser. 500 players we need to raise $5,000 when you guys reach that # then we will get 3000 minutes. (for those of you who seem to confuse easy that was a suggestion not what is or might happen) :D

Well the person to convince is Jos and if he still holds the same feelings as he as in the past when this was suggested all I can say is good luck in convincing him.

Man, now if I could win the lotto! I would donate 100g to this game and my old LARP game back in FL. (Just ask the wife. She knows I would.)
