- Full Manufacturable Listing of all Items, Tools, and Resources required
- Search feature to find manufacturable items with the materials and tools you specify
- Add/Edit/Delete Items and Resources manually, since Cantr is an ever changing game
- Other stuff...
So, yeah. The program has the database in there (Without Clothing items, sorry) which you can browse, and you can add/edit/delete raw resources. Which is no use to do, really, seeing as how you can't add/edit/delete items and tools yet... so, yeah.
The program is NOT complete, as stated, you can't add/edit/delete tools or items, nor is the search feature implemented. At the moment, only the database is there to be browsed.
So, then, why am I distributing this now? I want others to look at it, find any bugs that may be in the program at the moment, and any suggestions for changes.
Plus, there may be places where the items are input WRONG (Ie: Wrong amount of material shown, wrong materials shown, tools incorrect, days incorrect, etc.)
There is one thing wrong with the program, already. The amount of days is NOT completly accurate for some items. The database was a moron and changed all decimal numbers to a full integer. I only changed a few back to decimals, but there's still some that are full numbers. If you see one, tell me, so I can fix it.
You can download the database program from two mirrors, my main home website, and Geoshi---cities. - [EDIT] I've uploaded the source code for anyone interested in such a thing. Jos and Nick are mainly the reason I'm posting this, they both want it
Mirror #1 (Compiled Program): Download!
Mirror #2 (Compiled Program): Download!
Mirror #1 (Source Code): Download!
Mirror #2 (Source Code): Download!
Use the second mirror whenever possible, please. And, support Cantr!
[EDIT]: I forgot to say. Right now it's VERY mundane moving from object to object. When I releace the full thing, it'll be much easier to get around (Items will be in subcatagories, use a scrollbar to move around the items, etc.)
[EDIT2]: Just so everyone is aware, your computer must have two things. Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime DLLs (Which you can download at Microsoft) and WinZip or any other unzipping program to open the file that you've downloaded. WinZip is reccommended, because I have the file compressed, and so using WinZip to unzip a file zipped by WinZip is usually ideal
Also, I'm putting a list here of bugs found so far:
- Days listed may not show correctly (Ie: Wrong values, because the database rounded the decimal values around)
- Changing the name of a resource does NOT save the new name of it. This is fixed.
- ...Found a bug? Send me a Private Message, or post here with the details.
