If a town was advertising a "drunken orgy" to commence on a certain date, how many characters do you think would show up?

How many people are in Bhak at the moment? That's my answer anyhow.

Yeah, Bhak would totally go. And half of Shai. A couple of my chars might go, just to watch. lol

It might be a bit hard to get almost all of mine there without a CRB, but I think I could manage.
So where was it going to be, again?

I have one that would go if her current plans fall through.

Hmm... most of my surviving characters are surprisingly conservative. As a mind experiment, I'll think up how my characters would react if they got invited or heard about it.

- One thinks that sexuality is a private matter and also has a cautious attitude towards alcohol, so if there was a public orgy and everybody was invited, they would rather stay home. However, a private threesome or foursome wouldn't be totally out of question.

- One would assume his wife would feel offended by such a proposition, so he probably wouldn't go or even discuss it with her, but if he was single then he might attend if he wasn't feeling too self-conscious about his looks.

- Has decided she's too old for sex and would scold the participants, telling them sex is supposed to be between two married people and more than that is only going to cause trouble.

- Would assume it's some sort of a trap and be very cautious and suspicious, but might try to lure some participant to his ship for a private party. Must be less than 40, no crowbar and preferably female.

- Thinks she has slept with enough people already and wouldn't do it with strangers anymore. However, if certain people insisted on going, she'd have to go act as their chaperone to ensure they wouldn't get hurt.

- Wouldn't even know what orgy or drunken means. Would most likely feel intimidated if explained. But most likely the invitation wouldn't even carry this far.

- Would courteously and maybe a bit playfully ask his wife's opinion about it. I assume she might say "well, if you feel like experimenting..." and he would say "oh no, I was just wondering if you did...", and then they would eventually decide it was better to keep it just between the two of them.

- He would feel like it must be some sort of a joke, that they must be just trying to make him embarrass himself in public. He just couldn't imagine a situation where everybody would have a chance to get laid. He would probably be a party pooper due to poor self-esteem, just moping about how nobody wants him anyway.

- Would feel intimidated by the proposal, but as a player it might be interesting to put her in that situation since she's rather submissive, so people could take advantage of her.

- Wouldn't know what the word orgy means; upon receiving an explanation would act very disturbed, up to the point of curling into a ball and lashing out at anyone who tried to touch her, even friends.

- Would be asleep and not even realize someone was talking to him.

- Would be amused and find the whole thing ridiculous.

- Would be a bit abashed but might go out of curiosity. Would have to be on the Finnish region, though.

Seko, I enjoyed reading through that I have only one character who would be interested in going to something like that, and only because he would really really enjoy watching people make fools of themselves.

Okay, why not?

-Would want nothing to do with it. To each his own, but such things escape him and he'd want nothing of it. If his friend wanted to go, this would be when they parted. He has work to do, there is no time for parties of any kind.

-Would be curious but at the same time very scared. Past situations didn't work out to well but maybe with certain people it could be fun and it might make things between him and his wife a little less edgy or it might make things worse. Though he'd be very, VERY weary to even think, let alone say, he wanted to go. If it was in certain places, he'd 100% want nothing to do with it. And he isn't allowed any alcohol soooo....

-Would debate for awhile about the positives to going vs the negatives of leaving. The world is a harsh place and this town is a nice little Oasis in the middle of a shit load of death. In the end, it isn't worth the effort and he'd rather stay in his home town. They make whine and he's got "options" if he honestly wants either.

-Believes that the feelings he has for his girlfriend ALONE are weird enough as they are and adding more to the mix would just horribly complicate things. If she wanted to go, which is doubtful, he'd tag along but he'd no doubt ruin everyone's good time with the way he acts. He'd try the alcohol out of curiosity, but the rest he'd do his best to avoid (provided he didn't drink to much).


But to the topic at hand, I think a CRAP load of characters would show up. Even multiples from the same accounts would push forward and CRB just to make it to that city, where ever it was.

As far as my characters go, I don't think any would be interested in 'participating'. One might watch, only because he is in a very sexually corrupting environment
