Biographies/Autobiographies

Are there any characters in game that have written autobiographies? I haven't seen any, but that would be cool. OOC biographies of characters would be cool too.

My character is writing an autobiography... I suppose it is more of a journal since he is writing it as everything is happening, but he's writing in the past tense, which makes it seem like an autobiography. He hasn't dropped any copies; the only copy that is going to be dropped is the one that drops off his corpse, I think.

Glen's novels are autobiographies, and then there's Gregor's memoires.

My characters need to. They're getting old. If someone will take dictation for them they will.

p.s. I love reading others peoples stories though.

My new monarch has been keeping a journal ever since he was born in Naron about 8 cantr years ago. Not to brag, but so far its the best piece of literature I have seen in game.

Resh kept a journal for a while, but then he and I both said, 'meh..' and gave up on it. So he has a few events from his Tircqish exploration and that's about it :P

I've got one character who is detailing his travels in a visual map along with a full journal about his experiences along the way...

My other characters aren't quite as motivated.

Oh, you're Resh? Groovy.

"A brief history of the Nossé (and therefore Drojf)" is about as much history as any of my characters have ever written. Most keep a log of important events, but not all.

On the visual map thing: how do you make it? I'm a HTML newbie, you know

Personally I've been copying the location pics and pasting them into photoshop... I just use "landmarks" in the image to line up the tiles.

Mapping at sea is a whole other problem - you'll have to experiment with that one on your own.

yeah - I've got a few characters on the water right now - I've managed to master mapping boat travel @ right angles (ie 0, 90, 180, 270) but the angled stuff is proving difficult for now.

Hopefully your char will meet mine someday. I found a way around that. Requires a bit of math and help from Sho, however.
