Wait, that box was put there by the old version, Cantr Visual Event Enhancement, Advanced Edition (Some Assembly Required) 1.0.
Is your script an update to that, or is it an update to something I didn't install? I'm a bit confused.
Edit: I'm using Chrome on a Mac and the show/save settings doesn't come up for me.

Re: GreaseMonkey'ing Cantr - customizing Cantr, clientside
Code: Select all
1.4.8
* Added support for enabling and disabling the different modes of emote detection.
* Cleaned up the CVE UI.
* Made the CVE bar light up when the mouse is hovering over it.
* Added sound that plays when an event is received. (disabled by default, tested on Chrome only)
* Removed the slideUp and slideDown code, replaced it with the snappier display:none and display:block (for compatibility reasons)
* Added code that should detect if the user has written their own cvee_emote, cvee_character and cvee_event classes in Player Settings -> Interface

Try updating to 1.4.8, Doug. Hopefully that one will work as expected and respect your style overrides.

Been experimenting with extracting information from the wiki:
Main problem right now is the fact that the wiki runs using an SSL certificate from intro.cantr.net so initially you can't get the information.

Cantr Enhanced rehosted on greasefork:

I hope it works.

Why you didn't send me any pm? :<
It's something what can be fixed, I believe I'll be good before Monday.

It works fine But is there any way to switch off individual functions? I don't really like the colouring of names...

Turn off curiosities in account settings, then you'll be able to see CE settings.

Ah, no, it was because my Cantr account was set in Dutch that it didn't show the options. Still, thanks!

Re: GreaseMonkey'ing Cantr - customizing Cantr, clientside
I've updated the Cantr Visual Enhancer so that it works with the new way Cantr events work now.
Cantr has been acting a little weird lately though when it comes to its AJAX calls. I've seen UI elements vanish and pop back in a lot.

Re: GreaseMonkey'ing Cantr - customizing Cantr, clientside
Is anyone else having issues with Cantr Enhanced all of a sudden?
[quoteSelect language. It is enough to select it from the list, refresh page and it will be saved.
If you would like to change language in the future or disable some modules you can click on the text [Cantr Enhanced options] below.[/quote] is all crammed in a tiny box on the left side of the screen within the Character List section, and it's shoving my actual char names further down.
I'll see if I can get a screenshot up later.

Re: GreaseMonkey'ing Cantr - customizing Cantr, clientside
It's caused by change of HTML structure of Cantr page.
I'll fix Cantr Enhanced later, because there are going to be much more changes and it'd need to be fixed again anyway.

I was able to get the big box to go away by picking polish from the drop down and refreshing. You can change the language back by going into Cantr Enhanced options.

Re: GreaseMonkey'ing Cantr - customizing Cantr, clientside
Not to nag but any idea when Cantr Enhanced will be working again now that all the changes have been made? I hadn't realized how dependent I was on it. I can barely find my vehicles now, and standing around while people are dragging items around? Yikes.
