First "character crossroads" experiences...

Just had my first "character crossover" experience - in a nutshell where two of your characters cross paths either directly or indirectly.

Mine will fall under the 4-day rule so I'll keep it vague but I just had one character learn about the "supposed" death of another character through completely unrelated channels...

So this begs the question - what was your first experience where your characters ended up crossing paths or at least hearing about each other (purely by chance of course)

Probably when they spawned in the same town...and well, they really had no reason to interact

Well, my character (Sester Gartaf) help murder my character, Zak DoUrden, in Ladvicitavoi.

I don't count Easle and Awaq in Quillanoi because that is where they are born.

Ambrose Corla and Graiwe Johnsmith have crossed paths.

Richard Lenseth, Easle Quathak, Awaq Hera, and Thomas Meagher have all crossed paths.

Paoream Safthes and Sester Gartaf have crossed paths.

Paoream and Hogan Bight has crossed paths.

And I think that is it.

I find it quite interesting that I have had a lot of famous or famous at the time characters in the Drojf/Krif/Seatown Region but none of them actually ever crossed paths. They were born and died at different times throughout that history.

Same-town spawnage for me too, and they kind of became friends because one of them gave the newer one food--not due to preference, but because HIS (late) friend had given him 10,000 g of potatoes, and he felt it was his duty to share the generosity with everyone who needed it. Silly chars. :P

Same town spawnage occured, and would later most likely put me in old trouble with the PD. *mad confusing game... I do blame*

Later on I've had rare crossroad experiences, and less will acome in the future, I assure myself....

Even with just 4 characters, I still managed to have a minor crossroad experience when my Cantr City refugee worked for a few hours in the Lad Workshop where my Lad slave was working.

My 1st, 2nd and 5th characters on the K island have crossed paths *counts*... 4 times. They've each met the others, though they've never all three been together at once. It's kind of hard to keep interaction from happening on that little island and they would have been together a lot more except that I purposely try to keep them apart. I've had some slip ups with two characters in the same location. It wasn't pretty.

The first crossing was in Kwor. They didn't interact much, but my 5th character said "good ridance" when my 1st left. She didn't know her very well then... thought she was a nuisance.

My 1st and 2nd characters have traded with each other. But it was a standard rate sort of thing, no negotiation involved. It was a fair trade and I didn't cheat... promise!

My other 4 characters have never crossed paths since they're spread across the rest of the wide world. My traveler is about to come across another of my characters, but hasn't yet.

My wife stared at me in bewilderment when I got really excited staring at a screen and saying "wow - they're talking about my other character... and they think he's dead!"

...she just doesn't get it...

Please send a mail with the details of said events, along with your suspicion of the difficulties the character you call 'wife' might have to the PD. They will gladly explain it thoroughly. ;)

But you could indeed build a room with a bed, and call it a bedroom.
Its not called a sleep-room.

If we're talking this batch:

My chars on the K island have crossed paths, but haven't really interacted. My first two were both born in Kwor, but I don't even think they recognize each other. They've both been to Karnon Forest, but that's kind of unavoidable.

My KDS characters cross paths occasionally. Once during the Silverfoot thing they were all in Seatown Forest, but for completely different reasons. My Ranger and my former Ranger crossed paths once or twice, and my Krif char has seen one or two of my Rangers before, but other than that, no.

I had 2 chars in Blojt for a while, but they didn't talk to each other hardly at all. Then one died in the massacre.
Boo.

Thomas, could you remove chars named "Jake's mom" "Jake's dad" "Jake's siblings" they are disrupting the gameplay and somehow limiting my time spent on cantr...
