'You overhear xxx'
That is awesome! As you may know, I've just started playing again and I just overheard a whisper! Awesome new feature!
Anyway, this thread is dedicated to the small things, and big, that excite you about Cantr.. ie, when you finish building your first ship, or first building, or that first weapon... or when you are running something successful.. or the display of a society working and functioning correctly, etc..

When I make a proper trade using good calculations... (math is not my strong suit).

I prefer those without proper calculations. Feels more realistic

When you calculate the exact price for an offer and maybe round it up a bit, and the customer accepts it without questioning the price or even better, puts in a bit of extra. Also fun if you sell something at a highly exaggerated price, and the customer starts haggling, but in the end you still get more than you know the stuff was actually worth. That's actually more fun than the first scenarios I mentioned. If someone accepts a price straight away, it probably means it was less than they expected it to be.
Finding a resource you've never seen before with any of your characters. My Swedish guy found pearls and another charrie who died before getting to report anyone about her findings found bitumen and ruby.
Realizing you have the resources/equipment to make something you've never made before.

I got very excited when I made my first diamond encrusted sabre. So excited that I constantly mentioned it in my emotes. And because of that I started describing my hunts (now I do it all the time).

Altering a situation to my character's favor without using in game violence.
Predicting how an event will turn out OOCally and it goes "wrong". (Yup, I actually like it better when things DON'T go to plan)
When another character accepts mine's POV, especially when it is very strange.
When this one specific character is trusted without a doubt, regardless of who is around. (Although this may be an OOC thing, now.)

It was pretty fun when I had a character who could insult towns and knew when to walk away when things got too hot. He annoyed a lot of folks but got away with it for a long time, until one time he couldn't leave because his girlfriend was sleeping and he didn't want to leave her behind, so he got dragged to jail. He knew people were trying to drag him but he stubbornly stayed there anyway. I think he was in jail for three years, and it felt like a very long time. But he was released after finally agreeing to apologize.

converting people to your religion completly ICly. I claimed three when I was active, making my (non profit oriented) religion probably one of the biggest in all of Cantr.
by non profit oriented, i mean the only benefit of being in the religion was the 'spiritual' protection it provided. We gave out no food, we didn't work for steel or iron, we didnt go for donations for personal gain, we worshiped and we believed, and that was all.

Not to be argumentative, but I've seen at least one religion (that does not have material benefits, afaik) that is widespread enough that people on other islands from where it originated practice it.
on topic: Discovering anything new is a thrill. I didn't know coin-tossing and dice were being implemented but noticed the new icon next to a coin one day and clicked it. Then others in the town started flipping coins, too.

I knew it was being planned and that it was in the test environment, but I also didn't know it was implemented until I saw the button. Then I just had to try it, although in private since it's sort of disrespectful to flip a day of work.

Fun RP... sometimes I just can't wait until my character lights back up.
Oh, and acquiring a fortune via an elderly person's death in an uninhabited location.
