Well, since Cantr world is a ....., some empty space is implied.

But the orbital elements of a moon around a ..... would be rather complicated.

Maybe the world is inside the torus. To reach the moon you would just have to dig a deep hole.

It is both. Jos uses druidic incantations to control all the butterflies in Ireland which flap their wings, creating small variations in the air pressure of the atmosphere, acting as lenses to direct beams of solar radiation onto hard drive platters, thus writing code faster than any text editor could.
