I didn't realise, but have a character getting slaughtered by animals, so even knowing which half hour out of the three means I can avoid being attacked but still not starve.

In-game time, animal attacks (at the moment) take place around
2h–1:06—09.
Basically between six and nine minutes on every odd hour, though I've seen a few happen at three and four minutes.
At least, as far as I've noticed, after having a character attacked by every single thing in a location and surviving without even a scratch.

I'll add them back in then.

Yes, that matches the information EchoMan gave me. The ticks have a major period of two Cantr hours: every two Cantr hours 9 minor ticks occur, distributed uniformly over a period of 32 Earth minutes, or 6.4 Cantr minutes

Done.

I am glad to report that the threat of zombies has been subdued, so we can all enjoy the rest of our April in peace.

Oh, good! I was really worried about those zombies, you know, coming and eating our brains and consequently turning ourselves to zombies.

Starvation seems to still be off by a half hour.

Well, the source I used to get the starvation timing was a bit uncertain. I wonder if it was ever right. Does the application give a time which is 30 minutes late, or 30 minutes early? I suppose if the rest of the ticks are accurate then I will just adjust the starvation tick individually.

In fact, if someone posts the in-game time at which a starvation occurred, that will allow me to determine it more accurately.

The starvation tick happens at 0:24.

That would then imply that my timing for that tick is 60 minutes late... which is odd, because I recently shifted them backwards by 60 minutes, implying that they were 120 minutes late before then. Well... I'm going to test to see if the other timings are correct.

Now that I have the right thread....

Tick timings
Snickie wrote:Here's what I have so far from old ticks:
Animal attacks: 2x–1:[05,09]
Eating: 0:28
Starvation: 1:00
Projects: x:24
Land travel: x:17
Sea travel: x:13
Heart attacks (from inactivity, not unsubbing): 6:31

Here's what I have so far on new ticks:
Animal attacks: 2x:[29,34]
Eating: 0:16
Starvation: 0:24
Projects: x:12
Land travel: x:05
Sea travel: x:01
Heart attacks (from inactivity, not unsubbing): 6:19

Match 'em all up with this.

Yes, now they look correct again. Btw in ubuntu I can open tick timings by right clicking in the task bar, but not in windows.

Because the menu item is missing? Well, by default I have it not displayed - it can be enabled by going into settings - but I see that it's a more popular feature than I anticipated, so I might change it to automatically be present by default (or just remove the option).

Ah, ok. I must have completely forgot that I ever did that on Ubuntu. Thanks. :)
