A char of mine got himself into truble. OOC I knew it was a trap but I played it...

Now, if I will stick to stric RP this char will stop eat and die.. And that is such a waste of work, IC and OOC..
I can play him differently. The other chars wont know - they don't know him.

What should I do?

Why would he rather die than stay in that situation?

He is not a resourceful cantrien... Most chances he wont find a way out before he starve. If he does, he will try to esacpe - but because of the gameplay I doubt this will ever happen.

I guess it's up to you. As long as you're not using OOC information to your advantage, it shouldn't matter what you decide.

I would never kill a character just because that's the type of personality he has (unless he's going to die anyway...). I would either convince someone nearby to give him food or find a way to get meat on a fire. It doesn't have to be done in a resourceful manner.

If like you said no one knows him and you can't get out of that situation by being consistent, then change him. No one knows him so it's as if he was always like that. I've done it some times, where I create my charri and I want him to be a fisher man. He spawns on a desert, so I make him an oil driller.

Unless what you mean is no one AROUND him knows how he is. Then if you'd meet the people that know him you'd have to be playing out two different personalities. That would be a CRB and I advise you to find another way out. Or he could, experiencing a near death experience, change. Improve. But that would have do be RPed out with time.

EVOLVE the character DON'T "CHANGE" the character.

Add or subtract to the current personality traits in order to "fit" the new dilemma but DO NOT 100% alter the behavior. No one needs know what your character is thinking or doing INSIDE HIS HEAD.
