I'd like to know why suddenly creating notes with JavaScript are not allowed.

It's not sudden. You have been answered on Polish forum, do you want me to translate it?
Please refer to:
Yay! I can use Java script, at least a little.

Does this include the clickable links that move the view to another part of the note? That's just something that modifies and improves the OOC readability of a note, and doesn't change anything IC at all. I was thinking and hoping that at least those kind of things were allowed, because removing it from all those older notes would not only be a pain, but if the note is entirely deleted that would create some serious problems IC.

Clickable links (<a href="#position">) are not JavaScript and are allowed.

Why don't you just filter out any <a>nchors linking to URIs beginning with "javascript:", and <script>, <link> and <style> tags (if they are not already disabled)?
(You should also really disable HTML in keytags. I still have the code that sets the background image of the objects page to Tubgirl...)

I disagree. You can do that in notes too. And so far no one has abused it yet. So I really see no reason to not allow this, because I have some plans for images showing the names of keytags. (Yes, just because I have plans...lol, just kidding. But still.)

Anything that is not needed for the game to be played and can/does get some how misused in some manner should thus be force removed.
It prevents from having a problem and you simply state, "We did this to prevent problems for you, the players... SO SHHH!"

<irony>Yes, delete all images in notes. They are not needed to play. Let the players imagine everything.</irony>

Notes are not necessary at all. Neither are a lot of other things. Just the events thing is necessary. So what you are saying just doesn't make any sense to me.

What do PD think about instances where players have used Flash/etc. techniques inside of notes to create very beautiful things that fit in the context of Cantr? Do you want those reported too now or should we only mind ones that look like abuse and OOC insertions?

You can embed images without java script. X|

I think that is the right HTML code? O.o
Things like joo's suggestions and marol's post about "Don't make us utterly remove it" would just be easier to indeed... utterly remove it. The javascript etc, I mean.... and other destructive <tags>

But you don't need HTML in keytags!

Yeah so? There's so many things you don't 'need'.
