Just thought i'd express my love for cantr in the form of a list of things I love about it
1. You can do whatever you want
2. Unpredictable
3. The only game like it (individual)
4. I love the interations
5. You can really build a care and love for you characters and other peoples
6. I thought I had a 6 but I can't think of it
Ok, That was shorter than I expected

anybody else want to continue my Cantr love?

Yeah, really, I'd love to hear of any other games like Cantr. (Besides Faery Tale Online)

I think Chase02 is soon launching the closed beta of Reveri.es which should be similair to cantr and fto. Though I have too little info to know if that is true.

You are indeed correct Peanut, most people's response is "oh so it's cantr v2" due to it having many of the features Cantr wanted, but never got.

I hope you make something wonderfull and entertaining from Reveri.es
And don't listen too much to the players of your game if you're a one (wo)man team. Else you'll get what happened to wurmonline. Unfinished and unbalanced feature and bug fest

(Not that wurmonline isn't a good game though it could be better imho)

Thank you
Don't worry - I have a clear vision for reveri.es that I don't intend to let be diluted - it is my dream after all
It may come as a surprise, but there won't be a suggestions area on our forum, as reveri.es was never intended to be collaboratively (and perpetually) designed. I realise this is different to the current norm, but I personally feel that style of development is rarely done well. Quite simply, few players realise the impacts their suggestions have, nor the complexities of balance, player types and all that good stuff. It is my hope that this will result in a more polished game and avoid some of the issues you mention.

I love Cantr because...
...its an amusing little story written one character at a time.
...it lets me be ANYONE.
..requires players to accept or deny other players views on the Cantr world. Sadly it is more deny then accept. (Religion/politics/etc)
...there HONESTLY is ONLY Canter. There are copies/clones/sheep/etc that try to make the Cantr formula "better" but there is STILL ONLY Cantr.
