Was just reading thread about solar sills and it seems to suggest water is a valuable resource. I was reading the wiki and can't really see why so I guess I overlooked something. Anybody want to explain to me? Thanks :P

Tea, and portable flowerpots, among other uses.

You can grow very valuable plants with the water, if you have some like that. If not, there's a way to make nice eatable broth with a lot of water and large bones. The bones are everywhere, like trash. Water's pretty valuable in trading also.

...and if vehicle fuel is ever implemented, heaven forbid, you'll need lots of water in the preparation of it.

I have never noticed water being valuable in trade.

It is, but people would rather buy than sell, usually.

Yeah, because generally towns only build a well or a water pump if they start growing herbs or making alcohol, and they only gather for their own needs so they don't have stock to sell.

Too bad it will be a CRB to use this knowledge. :(

The true cause of that "we don't sell our water" situation is that water in Cantr is very iron-rich. That is, you can mentally replace the water with iron, and then the gathering rates make perfect sense... :D :D
