Hello all,
some of you may remember me, others might not (and i do see some new faces, which is good)
I was just wondering how cantr has progressed since the fateful day I clicked the big X a little over a year ago now. Sure, I tried to get back into the swing of things but with such massive losses in time invested, its just been too hard to start from scratch. So I ask, is there activity in the english lands? My absolute favorite character, and the one I played the most, spawned in the middle of an allout war, and it shaped him. However, with my attempts to create new characters in the past, nothing has come up which helped me create a personality.
So I ask, how is the english usergroup membership, and how active are they? I saw while browsing that there is now unlimited minutes, so things obviously are still changing, however I have also seen through browsing that the severe lack of staff is still a lasting issue.
All in all, whats up with cantr?

Well, I recall you but you may not recall me. Dudel = DudelRok and was here for like a month.
AS FOR YOUR QUESTION:
As I am an English player and ONLY an English player, I'd say the English area's are mostly active. It will get "bland" in some locations without the occasional noise bringer and once THAT is done with everyone goes back to farming potatoes.
Brinks is still a problem along "some coasts" and he actively raids the same towns every few Cantr years. (10 or so it seems... you'd have to ask him).
Uh... other then that, its mostly personal. I find myself CREATING most of the situations myself. No note thieves here but a few who know my characters will agree, I create my own amusement. You might wish to try it yourself.

Cantr island is pretty boring in general, a lot of towns losing population or getting wiped out altogether. Then again, when governments die out with the old folks, it generates a void that should mean fun for anybody with a crowbar. Some towns are doing well and being somewhat active but nothing big is happening. If Cantr island was represented by people, there would be a sleepy old leader, a couple of chatty old folks and a bunch of rebellious twenty-somethings. And a couple of friendly newspawns.
Treefeather seems pretty interesting with a lot of drama going on on some regions, while many towns are big and peaceful but lively. Most of the coastal towns are very nice. I have no recent personal experience of in-land towns but I've heard of some disturbances.
Shai island seems to have developed in the recent years, even though I haven't visited all the locations lately but at least one of the towns was lively and civilized and cooperating with other towns. Another town seems pretty silent but there is some activity.

Yes, I think Seko covered it well here. This is how I have found it to be as well. Treefeather is pretty busy and active right now with a lot of plots, plans, and activity going on. The brief contact I have had in Cantr Island lately found it to be filled with a lot of sleepers and the occasional traveller. I can't speak for all of it though, because most of my characters are on treefeather.

Southern Cantr Island has been pretty... active. Not sure about the east-southern part, but middle- and west-southern were pretty active.

I would have to say a good region of Treefeather Isle's up and about. My experiences with Cantr Isle have been... boring really. :/

Blaman Mountains South was quite active.

Nothing quite as much as the roleplay on Treefeather, which has lots of things going on.
