Hi guys, I've re-arisen from the dead (or the world outside of Cantr, also known as 24/7 Team Fortress 2) to link you to a collection of Cantr-related writings nitefyre has compiled. He broke his forum account or something. :P

nitefyre wrote:In marking a thousand days since I've left Cantr, I have compiled Cantr's first ebook. When the original Chronicles of Cantr community book project lost its momentum, I decided to revive it with works that I did have domain rights to, which of course were unfortunately only my own. It is a shortcoming that I hope may be resolved in future editions and explorations that are encouraged from hereby seeing the potential creative dimensions of Cantr. Again, these works may be neither meritorious nor praiseworthy, but I have taken painstaking effort to ensure that these are the actual original drafts from 2003-2006. Enjoy.

the Chronicles of Cantr can be found here with no sign-in necessary:

Alas, the forum account is fixed! Many thanks to Cantr staff :)

I was asked if there were any sections I would recommend in particular if one doesn't have time to read it in its entirety. I would suggest the narrative between pages 29-42; it was done more recently for the original Chronicles of Cantr project and I think it's better in quality than the rest.

As you may notice, some of this has appeared elsewhere in the Zine and in game, so this is intended largely as a compilation to hit anything you may have missed previously and may not want to hunt down, especially given the new URLs in the Zine.

Someone should download it and paste for some of us who have "issues" with some things because of arbitrary restrictions on their person.

AKA

Hey, who wants to convert that to NOT a PDF file and post it on the form for me to read cause I don't have adobe reader and I'm not going to "ask" if I can get it.

I think there's a few too many pages to post the entire thing here.. it may require a few hundred posts XD

Doesn't rapidshare archive/delete if it isn't downloaded for 30 days or similar?

Needs to be hosted on cantr...

I tried emailing both the_joshuamonkeyyahoocom@yahoo.com and
the_joshuamonkey@yahoo.com as I wasn't sure what your email was. If Cantr or another site (maybe lulu.com) can host it, feel free as I'll be out of the country for three weeks.
