I think the idea originally came from the "user above you: Cantr style" game. Here's a thread for types of characters you haven't managed to play yet but would like to try in some point.

For me:

Someone who is intelligent but not arrogant. Thinks all people are equally valuable regardless of how smart they are.

Someone who hurts people without feeling sorry or feeling obliged to explain why he's doing it. Makes people scared.

Someone who is clumsy at pretty much everything but doesn't feel bad about it.

Someone who works under a person that's good at organizing projects.

Someone who is abused and thinks she deserves it.

Of course this probably reveals something of my existing characters. With my characters, intelligence generally leads to arrogance, bad skills lead to poor self esteem and mistreated characters either run away or tell someone. Also my characters generally end up as project managers when no one else is taking up responsibility. Then I have a bad guy who has a tendency to get chatty, trying to make the prisoners understand him.

Between my previous and current account I've actually played all of those, gender differences aside, that is.

I'd like to play a Scrooge? Some strict business like character that pays bare minimum and simply hoards the profits.

I'd also like to play someone devout to some religious or spiritual order- not a leader, mind you. They wouldn't be founding anything.

And thirdly- Someone who trusts one individual enough to do whatever they're asked or told without ever questioning- even to themselves.

I can't really think of anything right now. I changed two chars around pretty drastically in order to fulfill a role I wanted to have. But nothing current or specific.
Possibly due to me not being very imaginative.

Oh and Seko, you should come work for one of my chars.

I want to play a character who creates a society where the opposite sex is forced to leave town or be imprisoned.

I wanted to make my own religion. I did attempt this before but no one really cared to hear anything about it and it was one of the eventual things that leader to her nearly dying.

Thats my goal. I have one i spawned for that reason. Hoping it works out!

I spawned a female char in a feministic community on some sparsely populated island. One of the men who spawned there ended up killing her...

I've been thinking of trying...

A trader type of character out who is 100% only looking to get "the best loot" but is piss poor at "doing the math".

Someone who can get power without being an ass about it. Something like a Councilor but not with my current characters. It would be awkward but do-able, I guess. (I'd rather not do this with my current characters)

Finally, someone a little less annoying. All my characters seem to irritate a LOT of people. It would be nice to make a guy or gal that didn't annoy everyone they bump into. I think this is a personality issue on my part.

a Thief who is not smart, sneaky or a good liar. A useless thief who's never going to get a single thing because everyone can see him stealing.

A Village idiot, uggly but cute 'inside'. Someone that good heart people like and care for. A man who tries to help although he's clumbsy.


I'm trying to chose between these two, to make my next character. Thinking about a fusion...

If you make the thief, you might want to make him very sensitive to pain so that when people start hitting him for stealing, he could be "OW, why did you do that for? " In fact I had a character who picked things up and got upset when people said she couldn't keep them. I think they did let her keep stuff in the end.

Hehe, nice touch. I'll take that.

I've just made the char, btw. He has the intelligence and agility of the thief and the looks and heart of the Viallage idiot. He'll be the soul of the village (useless, but the soul). As for being a thief, he might break the law but only because he doesn't understand it.
I'll add your advice too, he'll be kinda like a little kid who might just start crying because someone got upset at him.

I played two so far. One of them was overly dramatic and made a big deal out of everything, but got bored of life and after he found out his boyfriend starved himself to death, he followed into his footsteps.

The other is still alive and shrugged it off as some weird disease.
