Most advance center of the cantr world?

Postby g1asswa1ker » Fri Feb 27, 2004 4:20 pm

From what I've seen there are only 2 locations that are really well developed Bjolt and Alenz Hills. The rest are so worried about bad people with iron thatthey have killed the development process to a near stand still ie LAD Seatown Forest....

Cantr City use to be one of the bests, UNILT THE IDIOT PIERS "saved" the town. I have nothing against the person who plays Piers, I do have something again piers the char though lol o well, but yeah there arnt many places out there. More and more people need to work to gather for a common good. Its really the only way to do it.

Ya know if some of these power freaks would let up on the breaks a little some really nice stuff could happen. I have one char that has a whole mess of Bike Carts for the taking only thing is you have to develope the roads. After that I'll work on having a whle mess of cars with the same deal. Will be interesting to see what happens if people actually take me up on that or allow it to continue knowing cantr someone will mess it up.

The reason why Bjolt and Alenz Hills are where they are is because the main groups in those areas have no competition and the resources are easy to get.

Consider Pok. Iron and Wood are very far away and even though there is only one main group running things, everything takes much much longer. Nothing like Burnoi where you could build a trowel, a stone building, and eat lunch without ever leaving.

The Lad system is weird. Basicsally those who had power had tech and did not want anyone to have anything so that order could be maintaned. I've been out of there too long to know what is going on recently.

Seatown Forest is being RPed. Advancement is way down the list compared to regional politics, cold wars, postioning, and monuvering.

Karnon Forest. Poltics just like Seatown. The island could have had a powerful and open empire but...

Hmmmmm

KDF region = too much estrogen
Karnon Island = too much testosterone

for rapid advancement anyway

but you have to ask if the monolitic Bjolt or Alen Hills feels like living.

KF was going good till the BS happened. The RP is cool and everything but come on some people are just trying to build the world to hell with the politics. Pok isn't that bad off they might have far to go to get things but they have things going for them they work with people and hope for the best. Which is helping out there progress good. LAD it could get going faster if they started actually showing it's people that if your a citizen then there is nothin you can't have. Rome's citizens could have nearly anything they wanted and could walk across the empire with out fear from anyone least of all it's own armies. Yes your right Cantr City was doing great then there was Piers nough said there.

Olip forest...it's got most of the machines made. A well functioning group of people within the clans, it is a sportscar and small van. Food coming in from other area's where the clans reside. It's all good in the little forest.

Yes the clans are like lad closed minded for the certain few. If they would let others work towards the goals to they would have that muchmore power to the cause...

The clans aren't closed minded....they will welcome anyone into the forest if they act the right way. But if they are bullheaded and think they should get things by right, then they will get a sabre to the head by right.

i agree with shane, the clans of the forest are a good people they have owned the forest for a long long time by the history notes i have seen and it isnt hated like Lad and or blojt is/was. Might be a breach of the four day rule but my character liked the place so much he just had to join them ;)

If you lock up the resources then you lock up the ability for others to advance and be better people for all. For you you have access and there for care not but if you lost that access then you too would be trying to build up to gain access or free the resource to allow others to gain access.

I had a char travel to Bjolt cause they would not allow access to the iron. If they had allowed it he would have made a bike and worked on trade and the roads. But because he didn't want to be part of the clan they closed their minds to him. So, he moved on and helped Bjolt. It just goes to show that if you close off the resource to others then you are shutting out some of the man power you could have working with you.

ahh but you see in the past blojt would never allow its citizens iron, this must be a recent thing, and blojt has been built up to its current stage for a long long while even before the people could have iron.

True true. But just think of how much faster things would have gotten to where they are if people were allowed the opertunity to do things. I think it would be best if the people with the power allowed people to do as they wished and just watched out for those people trying to do mischief. Rather then holding everyone back just because of a few trouble makers

the world of cantr has more than just a few trouble makers, ;) the people of power hold back the iron and what not to ensure their own dominance of the realm. Olip does that but they also trade the resource so people can grow, Blojt formed a commonwealth that was like lad, but blojts people had more privlages than lad. The resources and weapons were forbidden just so they could hold power, and im sure if you had made an empire or something you would want to control resourcese to ensure your dominance.
