Natural experts

So I was lucky enough to spawn a character who is an expert at 8 things (so far, out of maybe 12 things tried)..

Talk about natural talent.. is that just good luck or a very good gene pool at their spawn town? Hmm.

Anyone else spawned a character that blessed? Or better?

I have one that's gifted... not blessed.
7- expert
5- skillful
4- efficient
3- novice
2- awkward

I've had a couple that were expert in about half of their skills. One of them died over a year ago irl, the other one is still alive but not quite fully sane. So good skills don't necessarily ensure happiness.

Most skilled char I have so far is 4 expert skills... :(

I still hope that there's a place somewhere attempting to breed "supercantrians" though

My most skilled character is expert in collecting, mining, cooking, refining, vehicles, machinery, fighting, tools, farming, building and manufacturing - that's 11 expertises - skillful in smelting, digging and hunting, efficient in weapons, tailoring, carpentry, shipbuilding, drilling and forestry and awkward in burying. But he most likely wasn't an expert in that many things to begin with, some is due to practicing.

One of mine has the following:

Expert - 13
Skilled - 1
Efficently - 1
Novicely - 1
Awkwardly - 3

I reckon he must have spawned with pretty much the same levels as he's not really used them enough to increase. But this is offset by the worst strength I've seen, coupled with the fact that his fightting skill is one of the awkward ones, he struggles to hit someone for more than 10 with a crossbow.

I wonder is there any weighting to skills, i.e. low strength characters get more good skills than high strength ones?

I doubt it. It's much easier to implement it as completely random although it would make more sense if some skills were connected to each other.

Expert - 9
Skilled - 5
Efficently - 3
Novicely - 2
Awkwardly - 0

She is much weaker than average though. Razor and I's chars have good skills, but we both can't hit high. It does seem like a coincidence though.

My 11x expert is stronger than average so being expert certainly doesn't rule out strength.

My newspawns always suck. Weaker than average and terrible fighters. Little expert skills and lots of efficient/novice/akward ones.

My newspawns tend to suck too, but I don“t really mind. Almost all of my more successful characters are clumsy weaklings.

I have one character who is expert in refining, novice and awkward in literally everything else I have tried.
