Way up north (north to the Lakeside) way up north (north to the Lakeside)
North to the Lakeside a-go north the rush is on
Big Kad left Seatown Forest in the year of ninety-two
With Deputy Greene his partner and brother Taowyn too
They crossed the Garden River and found the bonanza stone
Just below that old Seatown Hills mountain just a little southeast of Drojf
Kad crossed the majestic mountains to valleys far below
He talked to his team of huskys as he mushed on through the snow
With the northern lights a running wild in the land of the midnight sun
Yes Kadum Lakesider was a mighty man in the year of neneteen-one
Where the river is windin' big nuggets they're findin'
North to the Lakeside a-go north the rush is on
Way up north (north to the Lakeside) way up north (north to the Lakeside)
North to the Lakeside a-go north the rush is on

Greene turned to Kad with his gold in his hand
Said Kad you're a lookin' at a lonely lonely man
I'd trade all the gold that's buried in this land
For one small band of gold to place on sweet little Maily's hand
Cause a man needs a woman to love him all the time
Remember Kad a true love is so hard to find
I'd build for my Maily a honeymoon home
Just below that old White Mountain just a little southeast of Drojf
Where the river is windin'...

Green wasn't framed. He just blamed his misunderstanding of orders, which he VOLUNTEERED to fulfill.
